72 MonthsDoctor Of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Philosophy program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants holding a Master’s degree are eligible to apply for admission. Examples of Master’s degree include: ME, M. Tech., M. Sc., MCA, MS by Research and MPhil
All applicants are expected to have strong academic records.
Admission Details
Candidates are admitted based on the availability of guides. They have to qualify either the university entrance examination or the National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC. Final selection is based on interview.
