The quality of teaching in the computer science department is great. Most of the faculties are upto date with the current technologies, which are rare in most of the colleges. Faculties do support students in learning and encourages to learn beyond the limited space of the syllabus and textbooks. They encourages building side projects from what you have learnt from the first year onwards which would help the students to be competent and skillful minds.
The college is known for it academics. It is the famous college in Trivandrum with NIRF 50 ranking. Very well trained and experienced faculties teach there. The teachers maintain a very good relationship with their students. The teachers provide all sort of help and support from their side to help us in academics. They provide all necessary study materials both digital and non digital. Also due to the availability of a very good library it is very covenient for the students for taking reference.
I am studying bsc computer science. The quality of teaching is just okay. Students find it difficult to follow some of the subjects.the curriculum is not at all updated and need some developments. I personally don't think what we are are studying right now makes us job ready.
