The college has a small campus, but has all basic amenities, from courts to a cafeteria and has a well-equipped library. There is adequate provision for various clubs and cells as can be found in good law colleges, and the college does have a ground, though it is not connected to the main campus (it's two blocks away). The hostels are decent, and renovations happen at a regular basis. The college is very clean and the mess is decent at best. The classrooms are equipped with E-learning apparatus.
Hello
Yes, you can get admission through management quota in B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI/ML) programs. Many private engineering colleges in states like Karnataka and Telangana offer these seats under relaxed merit criteria—though for a premium fee.
Fees are high, ranging from 2–10 lakh per year depending on institution.
Be cautious: quality and curriculum for some AI/ML courses under management quota may differ significantly from standard CSE programs.
Some government bodies have paused standardized counselling for these seats; admissions may be arranged directly with colleges.
With an AIL Mohali rank of 245 and having an Army background, your chances of getting admission are quite good.
AIL (Army Institute of Law) reserves majority of seats (85%) for wards of Army personnel. Based on past trends, the cutoff rank for Army category usually goes up to around 250–300 in the final rounds. Since you’re at rank 245, you are well within the range to secure a seat, especially if you attend counselling in the first or second round and complete all document requirements.
Hi Shalini,
Congrats on your accomplishment! Getting a score of 146 out of 200 and an All India rank (AIR) of 59 in general merit is an excellent accomplishment. While your options for admission rest on many factors, including availability of seats, cutoff according to your category and competition that specific year, an AIR of 59 is a decent rank and makes your chances for success with admission at AIL Mohali look good!
