It is the admission process at Auro Design School. It includes all kinds of systematic checks intended for evaluating the creativity and aptitude of prospective students. Basically, for the under graduation programs, the admission flow consists primarily of three major stages: an online entrance test, a Design Aptitude Test (DAT), as well as an interview by Auro University. These evaluations combined form what composes the final merit list, which ensures that the most qualified candidates for the programs are picked.

Application Process

The application process at Auro Design School consists of the following stages:

1. Online Application: Eligible candidates are required to visit the official website to fill out the online application form.

2. Entrance Test Registration: Register for the online Design Aptitude Test (DAT) in accordance with the schedule released by the school.

3. Online Design Aptitude Test: Complete the online DAT, which measures the creativity of individuals and their analytical skills regarding what they are able to accomplish in building studies on designs.

4. Interview: Shortlisted candidates after the DAT will be invited for an interview conducted by Auro University. This interview aims to evaluate the candidate's passion for design, portfolio (if applicable), and overall suitability for the chosen program.

5. Merit List: Based on the combined performance in the DAT and interview, a final merit list will be prepared.

6. Document Submission: Selected candidates would have to submit the required documents as:

• 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
• School leaving certificate
• Proof of date of birth
• Any other relevant certificates or portfolios

The final merit list is based on the combined performance in these two stages. The sanctioned intake for B.Des in Fashion and Textile Design is 22 seats while Graphics and Communication Design has 20 seats.
