24 MonthsThe Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year, full-time diploma program offered by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, Kolkata, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have done their 10+2 from a recognized board.
The total marks should be an aggregate of 50 percent marks or its equivalent at the 10+2 level.
The age bar may vary from one state to another state board. However, generally, the minimum age criterion is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
Candidates should have good command of communication skills, creative thinking, patience, and an aptitude for teaching.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on merit, based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, or any other selection process, as per the policy of the state government/UT Administration.
