Avinasi Gounder Mariammal College of Education, Erode, is a premier institution of teacher education in Tamil Nadu. Admission Process Degree wise

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The admission is done based on merit based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination plus entrance examination if any. The approved intake for the B.Ed program at Avinasi Gounder Mariammal College of Education is 100. Selection will be made according to the policies framed by the State Government, UT administration, and affiliated university.

M.Ed (Master of Education): M.Ed Program has 50 seats that are available for those personalities wanting to go ahead with their further education in the field of Education. The admission procedure for M.Ed is similar to that of the B.Ed program as it is primarily merit selection. Candidates are graded for their performance in the qualifying examination, entrance examination, or any selection process as per the policies of the State Government, University, or UT Administration. 

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): Fifty seats are also approved for the D.El.Ed program, and the admission to this program is done based on merit through the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination. The selection process follows the policies set down by the state government or UT administration.
