Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a full-time two-year Undergraduate course offered by Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate who has passed the Eligibility Conditions for Admission to B.Ed. Two two-year regular courses as per NCTE Norms are as follows:
Candidates with at least 50% (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually/Hearing Impaired and
Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Humanity, Bachelor‟s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Visually/Hearing Impaired and Differently Abled Candidates of Haryana only) or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

Admission Details

Admission shall be on a merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT administration and the University.
