BSSITM Lucknow: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Babu Sunder Singh Institute of Technology and Management, or BSSITM, was established in the year 2010. This affiliated college is located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, spread over 25 acres, and has been approved by AICTE. The institute runs different branches of engineering diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs. Having a total enrolment of students as 772 and a faculty strength of 115, BSSITM enables an apt environment for technical education. The concern of the institute towards imparting quality education to its students gets reflected in the modern infrastructure and pursuit of different engineering streams.

BSSITM has numerous facilities for developing the learning experience of students. The institute has well-equipped laboratories for practical training, a sophisticated computer center with the latest hardware and software, and a spacious library that is well-stocked with a number of books and journals. For the comfort of students, BSSITM has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, with 2-seater rooms having 24-hour electricity along with provision for indoor and outdoor games. Other facilities include a canteen, sports facilities, and Wi-Fi connectivity on campus. Additionally, the institute has a medical facility which is equipped with a medical officer and an ambulance at its service all the time for students' health safety.

It offers different courses in almost every discipline of engineering. BSSITM's academic portfolio contains 7 B.Tech programs, 2 M.Tech programs, and 3 Diploma courses, adding up to a total of 12 full-time programs. The B.Tech programs include courses on Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. At the postgraduate level, the institute offers an M.Tech course in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The admission process in BSSITM is majorly entrance-based. For its B.Tech programs, the institute accepts Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination JEECUP scores. Admission to B.Pharma programs at the institute is based on the UPCET exam. All entrance exams normally take place in the months preceding the start of the academic year, and results, followed shortly by counseling.
