Bahera College, Bahera, is one of the constituent colleges of the state of Bihar, in the town of Darbhanga. Bahera College has an open and all-merit admission process for the eligible candidates, allowing everyone an equal chance.

Beside this, Bahera College provides three full-time undergraduate programs: BA Hons, B.Sc Hons, and B.Com Hons for a three-year duration. All such courses are well drafted to make the students sound from the foundational level in these fields and prepared for further studies and career advancements.

Application Process

Line with the usual practice of constituent colleges in Bihar, the following steps form the general practice:

1. Announcement of Admissions: The college advertises on its official website and in local newspapers to announce the start of the admission cycle.

2. Application Form: The candidates shall also need to obtain the application form before filling it in. The college may have an online facility on the college website for receiving the application form or place it at the college admission office.

3. Submission of documentation: The applicants must submit:

• 10th and 12th mark-sheets and certificates
• Character certificate from the last academic institution attended
• Transfer certificate (if any)

Degree wise Admission Process

BA Hons: The Bachelor of Arts(Hons) program at Bahera College includes various subjects in the humanities as well as in the social sciences. Admission into this program is purely on the merits of 10 + 2 results of the candidate. Applicants for this stream must have undertaken their higher secondary education in the arts.

B.Sc Hons: The Bachelor of Science(Honours) program is designed for promising candidates who are inclined to pursue higher education in scientific disciplines. Student admission is based on the merit of the 10 + 2 results in the science branch. In addition, students who studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in their higher secondary education are generally eligible to apply for the program.

B.Com Hons: The Bachelor of Commerce course in (Honours) is for students who want to pursue a profession in the field of commerce and business. Admission to the program is based on the merit of the 10 + 2 results, and preference will be given to students from commerce or related subjects in higher secondary school.
