Ofcourse you can practice medicine abroad after you MBBS degree in India. But for that you need to qualify different exams in order to become a registered practioner in those countries. Basically there are two exams for which most of the Indian students apply for-:

1- USMLE

The United States Medical Licensing Examination, known as USMLE, is an examination that is made in three steps, that is required for anyone who wants to practice medicine in the United States. It is sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME).

During medical studies and after finishing an M.D degree, physicians are required to pass this examination in order to become licensed and be able to practice medicine in the United States. All three steps of the USMLE complement each other, assessing the physicians skills and abilities, meaning that a step can not stand alone in the assessment of readiness for medical licensure.

Usually, the first two steps are taken while the student is still in medical school, and then, after graduation, the third step is taken.

2 - PLAB

PLABstands for The Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board. It is conducted to assess the necessary skills in an international medical professional required to stand eligible to practice medicine in the UK. It is organized by the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. Candidates not from the European Economic Area and Switzerland generally are required to pass the PLAB test. The PLAB test is organized by the General Medical Council UK and is administered by British Council.

Apart from these two there are several other exams  based upon the different countries but these two are most common one.

So, yes you can get seat in the self financing medical colleges of Tamil Nadu through NEET exam, eventhough if you are not a resident of Tamil Nadu. You did not mention your score, and if you had done it, it would be easy for me to shortlist the colleges.

The following qualifications are needed to become a virologist in India:

• In India, you must have earned your 10+2 degree from an accredited institution or college.

The PG is recognised from these countries as long as the candidate also holds a licence to practise medicine as a doctor there after receiving the MBBS UG degree.

The Medical Council of India does not recognise PG degrees from any other nations, including China, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan.
