Bhavan’s Leelavati Munshi College of Education, New Delhi, India, is a young institution recognised in the year 2016. This co-educational college is situated in the populous capital city and is established to produce educationists for the future. It is one of the affiliated colleges of a large university system and thus maintains quality education and at least minimum standards and curriculum. The institution provides two professional programmes, both of which are oriented on the preparation of students for practice in education.

They incorporated several amenities that would improve both learning for the students and their personal growth. A good library is an informational centre which should contain the materials necessary for preparing a prospective teacher. Bhavan's Leelavati Munshi College of Education offers two full-time courses: Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary education (D.El.Ed). Both of them are two-year programmes that give students solid groundwork in educational theory and practice. Particularly, the B.Ed programme targets teaching at secondary and senior secondary level and the D.El.Ed targets teaching at the primary level. With a total student enrolment of 284 students, each student receives personalised attention, as well as quality education when enrolling at the college. 

Since the college provides both B.A. and B.Ed programmes the admission process is different for each course offered in the college. The B.ED programme is organised for admission to which the students are selected as per their rank in the CET conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). This helps effect a competitive and unbiased outcome of the selection process. However, the admission policy of the D.El.Ed programme is different and is in conformity with the state government or UT administration policy. Generally the admission procedure may be merit based depending on marks of the qualifying examination and or entrance test. Colleges accepts IPU CET for admissions where Indraprastha University Conducts CET for various courses for professional field in Delhi NCR.
