Bhilai Institute of Technology Raipur was established in the year 2009 as the second institution by the BIT Trust, which already governs BIT Durg. BIT Raipur is approved and recognized by AICTE and is affiliated to CSVTU. BIT Raipur is accredited by NAAC with a grade ‘A’. BIT Raipur has its reputation of being one of the most sought after engineering colleges established in Kendri, New Raipur. BIT Raipur is an affiliated college of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai.
BIT Raipur offers various courses in multiple levels including diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral. Courses at BIT Raipur include B.Tech in various branches, Diploma in engineering and M.Tech degree courses in the field of Industrial Safety and VLSI Design. Admissions at BIT Raipur are based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination and thereafter through centralised counselling conducted by CG PET counselling. College Infrastructure
Infrastructure has not been modernised. Facilities are need to be improved in every section of the campus. There are no smart boards in classes to study. Labs should have all the required equipments. No wifi for students.

No there is no sufficient infrastructure for engineering courses, facilities can be improved as there is no smart board .Labs should be improvised so as to create professional environment . Buildings are too small.
