BIT, Raipur has an active on-campus placement cell. The cell ensures that the companies are genuine and have a good reputation.It also looks for tie-ups with other universities and colleges for pool drives. The students appear in the campus drives beginning in August and continuing till February for all branches and on average 80% of students get placed before the completion of the course and the rest have different career goals like higher studies, abroad education or entrepreneurship. BIT placement cell provides training to its students from time to time in the form of Vocational Trainings, Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, On-the-job training opportunities, and internships.

BIT Raipur Placement Procedure
The BIT Raipur placement cell will invite companies from various industries.
Recruiters involved in the BIT Raipur Placement Drive accept the invitation, and their participation is confirmed.
Interested candidates should register for the placement drive and should submit their documents to the placement cell.
The institute and company will schedule a placement drive.
In order to get selected the candidates should qualify for the tests and interviews conducted by the recruiter.
The selected candidates will be receiving the offer letters.

Can I get into Bit durg with rank 3168,female rank 918 in cgpet??
Hello aspirant,
Although it's a bit difficult to get some branch in bit durg as per your rank ,but you have some slight Chances of getting electronics and telecommunication engineering in the last rounds of counselling as per previous year statistics as the closing rank was 3438 so you have some chances there.

Is Christian College of engineering and technology bhilai is good for placement? which should I choose bit raipur vs Christian College vs shri shankaracharya bhilai vs bit durg? please help me for selecting college?

Christian College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai has not recorded very good placements during the past years. Placements are there for CS/IT branch students in companies such as Amazon, Capgemini, CMC, CMS Computers Ltd, Flextronics, HCL, HDFC Bank, Indian Army, Infinite, Persistent Ltd., Shriram Group , SYNTEL, TCS, Tech Mahindra and TEGA INDUSTRIES etc. The average package is around 1.3-1.8 LPA, which is not very good.
Talking about BIT Raipur, the placements are again not very good for branches other than CS/IT, average package is not very high( about 3.5 LPA).
BIT Durg has recorded average package of 3-6 LPA However, highest package offered is better here. It is almost equivalent in terms of facilities, also fees is higher than BIT Raipur.
Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai has placements from companies such as Adani Group, Ashok Leyland, BirlaSoft , Capgemini, CMC, Genpact, HCL, Hexaware Technologies, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Securities, L&T Infotech, Mahindra and Mahindra, Renault Nissan, RetailOn ,Siemens, SONY, Synergy Group, TATA, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Unisys India, XL Dynamics, Yahoo etc. The average package is around 3.2 LPA . So placement is good for CS/IT.
BIT Durg has an overall better reputation among the other colleges and thus gives a comparatively better placement than SSTC. The chances of you getting placed is way better in BIT Durg. Rest other factors are almost the same in both.
