Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur Facilities

The campus of BIT Raipur is spread across an area of 21.6 acres. The institute strives to provide its students with a multitude of facilities. The college has 3 conference rooms with good audio-video facilities. BIT Raipur is equipped with advanced laboratories for each branch. BIT Raipur offers ample opportunities for students to display their sports acumen. The sports complex of the college is capable of holding 4 outdoor sports events simultaneously. The sports include cricket, football, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton. The college also provides medical facilities on campus. The BIT Raipur bus facility of the college covers various regions of the city. The college understands its student’s needs and thus provides accommodation as well. It has a separate girls hostel and a boys hostel. The mess and canteen serve healthy and hygienic food to the students.

Boys Hostel
The college has a boys' hostel on the college premises. The hostel has a full-time Hostel in charge, a counselor, and is attached to the college mess. The hostel students are provided with breakfast, lunch, evening tea, snacks, and dinner. Utter care is taken for hygiene and pure veg food is served to the students. Both the hostels have newspaper and internet facilities available for the students.
Girls Hostel
The college provides well-furnished hostels. The hostel for Girls is located at Devpuri & New Raipur. It is well protected and has a full-time warden with full safety and security. It is closer to Raipur city, from here, the bus stand, two super-specialty hospitals, and the railway station are easily accessible.
Medical/Hospital
The college An experienced MBBS Doctor has been appointed for the students and staff of BIT Raipur.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students.
Library
The college has in formation is a vital resource and is an essential input for enhanced productivity for any developmental work. Over the years there has been an exponential growth in information, besides which the development in the field of Information technology has resulted in the introduction of information services based on computers.
Sports
The college provides ample opportunity for its students to display their sports acumen. The college's sports complex is one of the biggest grounds provided by any institution that can hold on to 4 outdoor sports events simultaneously. It has a cricket pitch, an international standard volleyball court, a football court, a kabbadi, and a badminton court.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facilities for the students like Digital Classroom.
Cafeteria
The college has a mess that caters to the need of the students who are away from the home. It provides them breakfast, lunch, evening tea, snacks, and dinner. The college dining hall can accommodate over 100 students at a time. Apart from the college canteen, we also have a Coffee shop for the students where the students can enjoy various delicacies in the breaks along with tea, coffee, and juice.

The College provides bus facilities for its students and staff. 11 buses ply from various locations to the College.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure has not been modernised. Facilities are need to be improved in every section of the campus. There are no smart boards in classes to study. Labs should have all the required equipments. No wifi for students.

College Infrastructure

No there is no sufficient infrastructure for engineering courses, facilities can be improved as there is no smart board .Labs should be improvised so as to create professional environment . Buildings are too small.

It could be good if college should have been proper in Raipu

College infrastructure is not so good but it is not so bad also.. although only reason the College to be underrated because it is far from Raipur city.It has three buildings in which all have separate department
