72 MonthsPh.D. program in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, course offered by Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualification for admission to the Ph.D. The program shall be a Master's Degree in the subject concerned with at least 70% marks in aggregate or OGPA 7.0/10.0 at the Master's level, and is relaxable up to 65% marks in aggregate or OGPA 6.5 out of 10.0 for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
2. Candidate should have qualified the ICAR-AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.)-2025 conducted by ICAR in the concerned subject of specialization.
3. A candidate can apply for admission to only one subject. No change would be allowed

Selection of candidates will be made based on the merit of the score obtained in ICAR-AICE- JRF/SRF (Ph.D.)-2025.

3. In case of a tie of Marks, performance at the Master’s Degree level examination will form the criteria. If performance at the Master’s level is also equal, then the candidate senior in age would get the priority.
