M.Sc Computer Science Self Finance - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
Teachers are supportive and well educated. The use simple old methods like chalks and talks, and basic slide presentation. The university curriculum is fine, but it needs more updated, practical It industry training.
College Infra
The campus is old.class doom are basic with black board, and the infrastructure feels quite antique. Internet speed is low in our campus and classroom feels outdated rather than modern.
These are not great for advanced programming.
Campus Life
The campus are descent , friendly vibe . Spending time with friends at local food stalls and common areas are nice. There are basic annual functions ,but the college needs more technical events and coding clubs.
Placements
Direct campus placement for M.sc computer science are very poor. Mass IT recruiters rarely visit for post graduates. Most students either try for small technique support roles off campus or prepare for higher competitive exams.
Value For Money
Since it is a govt added institution, the fees are highly affordable to private college.you get a recognised degree without spending much , but you have to put in extra efforts on own learning skills.

TEACHERS ARE HIGHLY QUALIFIED AND HEALPFUL . THE CHEMISTRY SYLLABUS IS GOOD FOR HIGHER EXAMS. THEY TEACH WELL , BUT YOU MUST STUDY ON YOUR OWN . ATTENDANCE IS NOT VERY STRICT , SO SELF - STUDY IS IMPORTANT.
College Infra
THIS IS A OLD GOVT BUILDING . CLASSROOMS ARE BIG BUT LOOK OLD . CHEMISTRY LABS HAVE BASIC GEAR, BUT SOME APPARATUS ARE BROKEN . SEMINAR LIBRARY IS GOOD FOR BOOKS. HOSTELS FOODS AND TOILETS NEED TO BE CLEAN UP.
Campus Life
LIFE HERE IS FUN . SENIOR ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL . HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS NEAR THE CYCLE STAND IS GREAT . THERE ARE SPORTS AND CULTURAL FESTS . JUST STAY AWAY FROM LOCAL STUDENT POLITICS AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT.
Placements
NO DIRECT PLACEMENTS FOR B.Sc. CHEMISTRY HERE . COMPANIES DO NOT COME TO CAMPUS FOR JOBS . MOST STUDENTS DO NOT TRY FOR JOBS ANYWAY, THEY STUDY HARD TO CRACK JAM OR CUET EXAMS TO DO M.Sc. FROM BIGGER COLLEGES.
Value For Money
THIS COLLEGE IS TOTAL VALUE FOR MONEY . THE YEARLLY FEES IS VERY LOW , AROUND 2000 TO 3000 RUPEES. YOU GET A HIGHLY RESPECTED DEGREE FROM A TOP ODISHA COLLEGE ALMOST FOR FREE. IT IS BEST FOR POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS STUDENTS.

I am a commerce student. The teachers are good and friendly. They help and guide every student whenever required. The curriculum is well updated with the recent changes according to the policies of the government.
College Infra
Necessary equipments are available but more advanced facilities and equipment are required. The living space is clean and well-maintained but if it can be more spacious it would be great. Fod quality need to be improve alot specially in the hostel.
Campus Life
Enjoyed alot. They're so many memories. Being in the campus feels good and nice.
Placements
I really don't have any idea related to the placement system or structure of the college, specially about my department. There maybe some opportunities but I don't have a clear knowledge regarding this.

Affordable for all.
