Ph.D. program in Human Genetics shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a Master's degree in any science or a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, medicine or allied sciences with a minimum of 55% or equivalent grades are eligible to apply.

Admission Details

The candidates have cleared a national-level examination and procure a research fellowship tenable at CHG (such as GATE/CSIR/UGCNET, JRF exams conducted by DBT/ICMR, JGEEBILS, Entrance test conducted by Manipal University and the like). Selected candidates will have to appear for an interview.
