Ch Mani Ram Godara Government College for Women, Bhodia Khera Admission Process

The college aims to promote equal opportunity through a merit-based scheme of admission. The basis for admission will be the qualifying examination performance of the applicants. Hence, the merit lists are typically prioritized on having academically adequate students admitted in preference to those with an average profile. The college is quite serious about the quality of education, and this is clear from the NAAC accreditation granted to the institution. Therefore, admissions in most government colleges of Haryana for undergraduate and postgraduate studies start after 12th standard and graduation results are announced, respectively.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA: The college features the BA program with a total intake of 400 seats. The admission to the BA program is purely on merit basis, with the basis of the qualifying examination (10+2). Therefore, eligibility criteria include students who have passed their 12th standard with relevant subjects.

B.Sc Non-Medical: The B.Sc Non-Medical program has two types for admission: one with Computer Science and the other without. Both types have an intake of 80 seats each. Based on the marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the 12th standard, admission is granted.

B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce course has a total intake of 160 seats. It offers admission to those who have done their 12th standard with Commerce or equivalent subjects. The admission will be based on a merit list prepared from the qualifying examination scores.

BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications course has an intake of 120 seats. Its eligibility and admission criteria lie in the performance of the student in the 12th standard, especially in Mathematics and Computer Science subjects.

M.Com: The Master of Commerce program admits 60 students. All candidates with a B.Com or equivalent degree are eligible to apply. Admission is usually based on the merit of the graduation marks.

MA Programs: The college offers several MA programs including Hindi, Political Science, English, Economics, Psychology, and Sanskrit, each of which will admit 40 students. Admission into these programs is based on merit from the relevant bachelor's degree.

B.Sc Medical: The College also gives a B.Sc Medical course with the intake of 40 seats available. Admission is granted depending upon the marks scored in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in the 12th standard examination.
