Boys Hostel
The college has are 2 gents hostel viz the old hostel and the new hostel. A new hostel for the postgraduates is under construction. The old hostel accommodates the second-year, final, and final-year students. The new hostel accommodates the freshers, interns, and postgraduates. There are 55 rooms in total. The hostel is equipped with a library which contains numerous books and articles. The hostel office is provided with a Wifi router. The TV hall for the students can hold 20 students. Our college also has a gym for gents where all of the latest equipment are available. The treadmill, cycling exercise, dumbells, and multistation are some of the many types of equipment that are available.
Girls Hostel
The college has 3 ladies' hostels viz 2 old and a new hostel. The old hostel accommodates second-year, prefinal,l, and final-year students. The new hostel accommodates the freshers and the postgraduates. Ladies interns are staying in another hostel near the hospital. A gym for the ladies is also available.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
Library
The library is well-equipped with thousands of books. Numerous journals and magazines also adorn the shelves. It has separate reading rooms for the professors and for the students. An own book reading room is available for the benefit of the students. The library also houses the student council room.
Sports
The college has Sports facilities are plentiful in ChMC. Huge grounds for cricket and football are there. 3 badminton courts are present within the examination block. Volleyball courts and basketball courts are just opposite to the gent's gym. All the necessary sports equipment is present.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
Cafeteria
The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.
Alumni Associations
The college has good networking for the alumni association.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

College Infrastructure

In Chengalpattu Government Medical College, I am 2nd year medical student. In my point of view, the infrastructure is good. They have a very developed lab structure and hospital are very specialised in structure. Classroom are neat and clean. It helps us to learn practical very well.

College Infrastructure

As a B.Sc Accident and Emergency Care Technology graduate in Chengalpattu Medical College, my college has nice infrastructure. Also include facilities like classrooms, laboratories, libraries. But hostel is not available.

Everything in my college is good except placements.

College Infrastructure

My college has no hostel facilities. I have completed my bachelor's degree in Radiology and imaging technology. My college campus is good and clean with regular hygeine maintenance. Auditorium and Library in my college is good.
