College of Fisheries, Agartala Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The campus is residential, all the students are accommodated on the campus. There are separate hostels for boys and additional accommodation facilities to cater to the increasing number of students. Two scholars house one with each hostel to accommodate research scholars/PG students. The Hostels are equipped with Internet and other modern facilities.

The College has a Health Centre to meet the students' and staff's basic emergency medical necessities. A visiting doctor, one Compounder / Dresser, and one Medical Attendant provide health support to staff and students.

The college has a Gym facility with the following Equipment- Treadmill, Exercise bike, Rowing machine, Multi-gym, Dumbbells, Rods, and Weights.

The college has a library facility for all students. The library is located in the college building. The present space occupied includes one big hall only. The present library will be shifted to the newly constructed library building. The existing holdings are as follows. Number of Books: 6850 Number of Periodicals Subscribed annually: 77 Number of professional journals Indian Journal: 43 Foreign Journal: 14

The college has one indoor sports complex of a plinth area of 800 sqm and a playground of 7000 sqm. The students are provided ample opportunities to participate in different extra-curricular activities such as games and sports, literary activities, and cultural programs.

The College computer laboratory is set up to cater to the training needs of the students. Internet and LAN facilities and all the Departments will be interconnected with these facilities to provide easy access to the internet facility. Video conferencing facilities have been present in the college.

The college has Auditorium with 300 seat capacity that is functional with good quality audio system, however, a small auditorium with 200 seating capacity also exists in the college building. 

The college has a bus, a Maruti Van, and a Gypsy to meet the staff and students' necessities.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

The College Laboratories are gradually upgrading to cater to the needs of courses offered by each department.  The present facility of the laboratories in different departments is being utilized for both UG and PG practicals and also PG research work.

The college has Banks/ATM facilities for all students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has a Shopping complex for the students and faculty's convenience.

The Cell helps every student explore placement opportunities by inviting various companies for campus recruitment of students who are in the final year of the program.
