24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by North Eastern Hill University, Shillong.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with at least 45% marks in the Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree with at least two school subjects at the graduation level are eligible for admission.
- Seats are reserved for ST / SC / OBC and physically handicapped students. To clear the backlog of untrained teachers, some seats are also reserved for candidates who do not qualify on the basis of the marks obtained with the Bachelor’s Degree, but who have three years of teaching experience.
Admission Details
Admissions are conducted by a duly constituted Board formed under the directions of the Governing body of the College. Candidates seeking admission have to qualify first for a written examination and then for a personal interview.
