72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, Offered by the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar.
A Candidate must have passed M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology/Veterinary Public Health / Veterinary Epidemiology/Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Biotechnology/ Livestock Product Technology/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology.
Admission in the Ph.D. Degree Programme shall be made strictly on merit as determined on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
