Doon Institute of Medical Sciences Dehradun follows a rigorous and competitive admission process to ensure the selection of highly qualified and dedicated individuals for its various courses. Doon Institute of Medical Sciences Dehradun admission to BAMS is granted through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), followed by the counselling conducted by Uttarakhand Ayurveda University.

• The candidate must fill out the application form and meet the prerequisites.

• Candidates should have passed class 10th and 12th in the PCB stream with at least 50% marks for the GNM course, and for the Diploma in yoga and Naturopath candidates should have passed class 10th and 12th in any stream.

• Admission is based on merit.

• Once the application process is completed, candidates are required to submit a copy of the application form along with the documents at the designated help centre for document verification. 

• Candidates on the basis of the merit list are allotted seats. At this stage, if candidates are not satisfied with their results, they can cancel the admission. 

• Candidates who are allotted seats in DIMS Dehradun need to submit the admission fee within the stipulated time to secure their seats in the institution.

• In the next step, candidates are required to fill out and lock their preferences for colleges and courses. 

• The authority publishes a merit list based on the NEET scores, choices filled and seat availability. 

• Candidates with their names on the merit list are required to appear for the counselling process. 

• Candidates who are granted seats during counselling at DIMS Dehradun are required to pay admission fees to complete the admission process.
