College is overall good. Can opt for it

    College Infrastructure

The college provides with satisfactory infrastructure having all labs and equipments. Library, football ground, volleyball ground, basketball ground present. Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls present, but no as such wifi and smart board.

    Academics

Currently, I am pursuing mbbs and I am a first year student. The subjects taught are anatomy, physiology and biochemistry in first year. The faculty is pretty good with much experience in professional as well as teaching life.

    Placements

At the end of fourth year, one needs to internship program in the same hospital for a year. The salary given as an intern doctor is as per NMC’s guidelines(presently it is 22k per month ) and if doing job as a tutor after mbbs the Salary increases.

    Value for Money

The tuition fees is approx 1.5 lakhs. And along with this we have to pay separate hostel and mess charges if the student has to opt for them. Though as compared to a private medical college this much amount seems less, but as in comparison to other states, Uttarakhand demands for a little higher tuition fee.

    Campus Life

The college though is present in Dehradun, a well known place, but it is actually in a little outskirts area. Campus is not that vast and hospital is situated somewhat far from the college. Though as campus includes all kind of grounds, one can play sports or just walk around after classes. Also there is a cafeteria facility.

Have a question related to GDMC Dehradun ?

For Doon medical college Dehradoon mbbs course, what is bond amount and duration of the bond for which student has to serve in rural service post completion of mbbs course.

    Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that The candidate availing reimbursement / scholarship will have to do one-year bond service as Medical officer in rural difficult and tribal area of Maharashtra.

Furthermore, the panel recommended that the bond period for MBBS candidates should not exceed one year , and the bond value should not be over 10 lakh for those admitted under the all-India quota (AIQ).

I hope that this will help.

our marks of neet 2021 exam is 284 what is procedure of addmission in MBBS

    Hello Student

In marks 284 Neet exam for admission in MBBS course candidate has to take the way of admission in private medical college for MBBS BDS etc, where the  required marks in Neet exam .is 250 + marks. So your chance for getting admission in MBBS course in private medical college through management quota is possible. But there is a great difference between the fees in Government Medical College and private medical college specially in  admission MBBS BDS etc course through management quota

    Hope this helps.
