Moderate placements with growing opportunities and guidance

    College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is good. New buildings are also being made. The college infrastructure is well-developed and supports both academic and extracurricular activities effectively. The campus is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, creating a positive learning environment for students. Classrooms are adequately sized, properly ventilated, and equipped with basic teaching aids such as whiteboards and projectors, which help make lectures more engaging. The library is one of the strongest aspects of the infrastructure. It has a good collection of textbooks, reference books, journals, and digital resources, along with sufficient seating space for students to study peacefully. Laboratories are properly designed and equipped with essential instruments, allowing students to gain practical exposure and hands-on experience relevant to their courses. The college also provides computer labs with internet access, though regular upgrades would further enhance their utility. Common areas, washrooms, and corridors are kept hygienic, and drinking water facilities are available across the campus. Sports facilities and open spaces encourage students to participate in physical activities and maintain a healthy balance between academics and fitness. Overall, the college infrastructure is reliable and student-friendly. With minor improvements in technology and maintenance, it can become even more efficient and modern.

    Academics

As a science background student, I can say there are many facilities to do as much as experiments possible with all the equipments along side hands on training. The academic environment of the college is structured, disciplined, and focused on building strong conceptual foundations. The curriculum is well-designed and follows the university guidelines, ensuring that students receive updated and relevant knowledge in their respective fields. Emphasis is placed on both theoretical understanding and practical application, which helps students develop analytical and problem-solving skills. Faculty members are highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. They explain concepts clearly and are always willing to help students with doubts, assignments, and academic guidance beyond classroom hours. Regular lectures, tutorials, and discussions encourage active participation and independent thinking among students. Internal assessments such as tests, presentations, assignments, and practical exams are conducted regularly, helping students stay consistent with their studies and prepare well for university examinations. The evaluation system is transparent and fair, motivating students to perform better academically. The college also promotes academic growth through seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and academic competitions, which expose students to current developments and research trends. Overall, the academic system is well-organized and supportive. With continued innovation in teaching methods and increased research exposure, the academic experience can be further enriched.

    Placements

Placement are very nice for Bcom students. Careers fests are also being organised every year for placement opportunities. The placement cell of the college works actively to provide career opportunities and guidance to students. It organizes placement drives, internship opportunities, and career-oriented workshops that help students understand industry requirements and develop employability skills. Regular sessions on resume building, interview preparation, and career planning are conducted to prepare students for future opportunities. The college has collaborations with various organizations, companies, and institutions that offer internships and entry-level job roles to students from different academic backgrounds. While core placements are limited for certain courses, especially in pure sciences and humanities, students are encouraged to pursue higher studies, competitive exams, and research-based careers. For professional and vocational courses, placement opportunities are comparatively better, with some reputed companies participating in campus recruitment. The placement cell also supports students in applying for off-campus opportunities by sharing job alerts and internship openings. Overall, the placement scenario is moderate and steadily improving. Students who are proactive, skilled, and academically strong are able to secure good internships and career options. With stronger industry tie-ups and expanded recruitment drives, the placement outcomes can become even more promising in the coming years.

    Value for Money

Giving a review about my cllg is somewhat good.

    College Infrastructure

The cllg infrastructure was average although they are working on building new classes. The canteen wasn't good but now they have changed the vendor and it's really good now. Classroom are ok ok. Some classroom have ac cause they have digital board . Wifi is really bad at every corner airtel is the best choice for my cllg and jio is the worst choice.

    Academics

Ok so one thing about my cllg which is good is that my teachers are really good at teaching I would say some teacher have their own flaws but overall teachers are good. They'll help you with the study but don't ask very silly or normal question to them as they are not like your school teacher I mean not every teacher is like that but ya some teachers are.

    Placements

So placement cell is also good I mean i must say another thing I liked about my cllg is my placement cell they work really hard they provide us internship that meet with our eligibility everyone has a fair chance to apply for the internship and one will be selected on their own performance and the placement cell members are really cooperative.

    Value for Money

I would say it's not that much worth it as in first year my total fees was 34000p.a and un second year it was 28 k. Cause the infra is not that good and being a government cllg they are charging too much if you calculate it like around 17-18k for total 16 month but they take the amount for an year. So they take a total of 12 month.

    Campus Life

My overall life was good on campus I do loved that I studied in du as being a school student i never heard of du but when I heard of du at my 12 th board I decided to study in du cllg and it was tbh best decision of my life.

    Others

Overall you'll love the cllg except some things. So before taking any step do explore everything thoroughly as whatever destiny gives us it's for our good. So best of luck to the future ones who'll be studying in du . ????

    College Infrastructure

Yes good only Not that great though, college is small with very less availability of rooms amd everything, library is also very small with less sitting area and congested place , mostly the wifi is bad only.

    Academics

Overall academy is good only only few the teachers who are really not interested in teaching one of my financial accounting teacher was not that interested in teaching the students but over all they give proper emphasis on students education and does the work

    Placements

As I have heard they do not provide the greatest package according to the north campus standard but the incrementum which is the career fest is organised every year with so many renowned companies but it is well not that great ,small companies only

    Value for Money

Not at all like Daulat Ram college is the most expensive college in the whole North campus like they charges 34250 for 1 year and according to that the infrastructure is not at bar the library the canteen the bathroom and everything it is not value for money at all I will not recommend me body there but the crowd is good only.

    Campus Life

Since it's a girl college I feel pretty much comfortable there not bother by anybody the campus is lively people are good except few. We very much experience the North campus Vibe and quite used to now.

    Others

As compared to other South campus colleges it is good in that sense but as compared to the standard of North campus it is not at par and I might recommend it to a person who wants to experience in our campus Vibe.Since it's a girl college I feel pretty much comfortable there not bother by anybody the campus is . And a person who cannot afford the fees . I would suggest to work hard and search for other better colleges and study hard to get into other north campus colleges.Thats my point of view

It is a good college of DU with great education.

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good but can be better as compared to other North campus colleges. Students seating capacity needs to be increased in libraries. Certain classes are very tiny, barely 10 students can fit. Gym is allowed amd accessible only to Certain students that are in sports society or similar fields. Network issue is a major issue. There's no network at all.

    Academics

Academically it's great, the teachers are well educated serious about educating us. They really prioritize our education by taking frequent tests, quizzes, assignments and assign many engaging activities.

    Placements

Placements are great. The highest package was INR 23.05 lakh per annum. Average was INR 6.5 lakh LPA. Placement Cell manages internships and Placements. Companies like KPMG, Delloit and Wipro participate in the campus recruitment.

    Value for Money

Fees is high as compared to other DU colleges.

    Campus Life

Campus life is the best. Many engaging activities like music, dance, art are celebrated. Students and staff are all encouraging and friendly.

    Others

    It's a fine college overall.

    College Infrastructure

My college has good infrastructure with all the necessary facilities like lifts, clean classrooms, clean washrooms, laboratories, and a well-maintained library. The Campus is neat and hygienic. The only issue is limited library seating due to one floor, but overall, the facilities are good.

    Academics

I am studying B.Com Programme here because I am interested in accounts and want to build a career in the finance field. Quality of teaching is good, and faculty is also supportive. The curriculum is updated, and students get exposure through societies, competitions and activities.

    Placements

The quality of placement is good. The highest package offered was INR 23.03 Lakh, and the average package is around INR 6 lakh. The Placement Cell of the college takes care of placements. They also organise a Career Fair every year that provides opportunities for internships & placements.

    Value for Money

The course fee is Rs. 31650 per year. Yes, I definitely feel that my money is worth it.

    Campus Life

Campus life is very enjoyable. Many fests and events like Dandiya, Manjari, and other cultural programs are organised, where we have lots of fun with our friends. Attendance is required but not very strict.

My college is quite average but it's not that bad afterall.

    College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is highly average as compared to other du colleges. Campus is very small and the buildings seriously needs to be repainted. It's not that bad , if you're coming from a tier 2 city where you don't have much great colleges then drc is good.

    Academics

Academics are great. Teachers are highly educated but the thing is classes often get cancelled, that's the only drawback. Apart from this there are regular assessments so it's a great thing. I'm studying economies and mathematics so the curriculum is obviously very rigorous

    Placements

I'm in first year so I don't have much knowledge but as I have heard, placements are quite okay ish. If you compare it with SRCC then obviously DRC stands nowhere near it but on a general level placements are okay.

    Value for Money

Yes it's value for money. As it's a governments college, the fees isn't that high.

My college is good in academics and ECA.

    College Infrastructure

The college has all necessary infrastructure like labs for every department, tutorial rooms etc. We have writing boards (black, white and green) and digital boards. Library is really good with the access of wifi, but campus wifi is not much available.

    Academics

I am studying BSc Hons Mathematics as I have always had interest in mathematics. Professors teach in a very friendly and supportive manners. And my curriculum is up to date and we also have lab sessions so we are very much connected with ds ml.

    Placements

I would say that placements are not as expected and also the process is not so smooth. In 2022 the placement cell vriddhi witnessed 100% placements. Average salary offer has been 6. 7 lpa and the highest went to 23.05lpa.

    College Infrastructure

the infrastructure of daulat ram is not that great . Its is needed to be better and more classes and area is required. As per now the college has sports ground which is really big and nice. with gym and sports room. Auditorium is very spacious if compare to other north campus colleges.

    Academics

the academics figure are really compatible and good. Its is among the top du colleges in academics also the college has excellent science department but however the commerce department is still needed to be better.

    Placements

As per online information on college websites. My personal opinion is daulat ram has decent average placements for students enrolled in courses like bcom hons ,bcom program.statistics, economics hons. Based on records and my research it has average placement of 6.7 lpa.

    Value for Money

Its id definitely affordable and the college fees is less compare to private colleges .But the other government colleges has comparable more lesser and more affordable fees structure for all courses. daulat ram fees structure is higher than other du colleges. So I think its need to be lesser and more cheaper so all students can access for thier education.

    Campus Life

the life is vibrant and beautiful as it is located in main campus of all daulat ram college so it gives the proper campus life however my college is all womens college so it lacks full exposure and more activities which happens in coed colleges.

    Others

yeah pls look for the infrastructure and curriculum of college it is needed to be better and more classrooms and teachers or faculitues are required .Most of the time the students have to find classrooms for thier 1 hour class. Ans finding a empty class is struggle on a peak hour of college.like 11-1 and its almost waste the precious time of class hour just to find the classroom so that we can sit and study. And overall the faculty is pretty good but more teachers are required .

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is well equipped with all the essential lab facilities required for the classes. Most the classes were having digital boards for efficient communication between teachers and students and for conducting beneficial seminars.Clean surroundings with full wifi in the campus area is accessible to students.

    Academics

I think it is one of the best college in terms of academics. All the teachers were very amiable with students, provide and share updated insights in their subjects. Teachers regularly provide necessary information to make us ready for the future careers .But the curriculum of my subject in DU during this session was old and doesn't included new emerging subjects in the field of mathematics but after NEP the curriculum has been improved for students benefit. All the teachers were committed to prode it's each and every student's all the best possible skills and knowledge that they can.

    Placements

The placement cell in our college is known as Vriddhi, where students can join it to get exposure to various internships and apprenticeship programme.Stiuents can join it from first year onwards for it but for recruitment in any company it's essential to be in the final year. Every year many students gets hired in best companies with good annual package based on the skills and knowledge of students.

    Value for Money

The course fees was genuine and worth of.I think approx. 20K fees per year for B.sc maths. But the knowledge, experience that we get here is actually priceless in terms of money. The friendly nature of all teaching and non teaching staff was commendable.

    Campus Life

Although I don't got much time to fully enjoy my campus life due to COVID years but almost 3 semesters were experienced by me in which I try my best to utilise that time period to socialize with different types of people, experience the dream life of college. The college was very near to tom uncles Maggie point ,the craziness of its food never ends. Also the famous tea point was near to college which is always full of students especially in winters amd monsoon season.

    Others

The annual and departmental fests held every year is an eyestopper for every student of the college with one of the best music and dance departments of the university

    Academics

Education is good, the professors are really nice and teach very well. They make us understand pretty easily. I personally like the commerce department’s professors better because they are just too sweet.

    Placements

The placement cell of daulat ram college is unexpectedly very active and hardworking. You can easily join the pcell and get internships as well as placements also. The president of p cell is really sweet.

    Value for Money

It is absolutely value for money. My yearly fees is 35 thousands and every penny is worth it. What we get in return of this thirty five thousands is absolutely priceless and very well motivating to work.
