• Campus: The campus is moderately spacious and clean, located near North Campus hub (adjacent to Hindu College). • Library: Well-stocked and digitized with access to DU’s e-resources. Quiet and study-friendly. • Classrooms: Many have been renovated with smart boards, but a few old rooms still need upgrades. • Labs: Science labs (Botany, Zoology, Chemistry) are well-maintained and functional. Psychology and Computer labs are decent. • Canteen: Offers hygienic, budget-friendly food. Not the fanciest, but gets the job done. • Wi-Fi: Available but inconsistent in speed and coverage. • Hostel: No college-run hostel. Students need to opt for PGs around North Campus.
• Faculty: Experienced and supportive teachers, especially in Psychology, English, and Political Science departments. • Course Quality: Curriculum follows DU standards. Encourages critical thinking and presentations. • Notable Courses: Psychology, B.Com (Hons), English, Hindi, Pol. Science, and History are top choices. • Support: Teachers often go beyond the classroom, helping with research papers, debates, and competition prep.

Organizes career fests, internships, and skill workshops. • Companies: KPMG, Deloitte, Decathlon, EY, Teach for India, etc., visit occasionally. • Best Opportunities: Mostly in commerce, economics, psychology, and English fields. • Average Package: ₹3-4.5 LPA; higher in commerce-related profiles. • Internships: Good exposure via societies, seminars, and individual initiatives.

Daulat ram college is an constituent college of delhi university offers a balanced academic and campus experience The infrastructure is decent with most classrooms equipped with projectors and fans Science laboratories are well maintained
Academically the college has experienced faculty especially strong in humanities and science Teachers are supportive and approachable Overall this college provides a positive learning environment with scope for infrastructure enhancement and better student facilities
In terms of placements The college has a placement cell that actively works to bring companies on board Though opportunities are relatively better for commerce and economic students Some reputed companies visit the campus and internships are available through placement drives and external platforms
My course costed me Rs.34250 which i think is very decentThe college offers a fair value for money As the fee structure is economical as compared to the private institutions And students get access to the experienced faculty and university of delhi credentials Hostel facility is limited but clean and secure
Sports and extracurricular opportunities exist With active societies and drama , fashion , debate and music Which help students develop The campus is generally clean and green The canteen is affordable
Honestly, infrastructure is mostly okay-ish, although lesser than what one might expect from a DU college. Yes, the college does have all the required facilities including air-conditioned classrooms, gym facilities, sports complex etc. The chemistry, zoology, and botany labs are absolutely functional and up to date. The library has a regular supply of magazines and newspapers, along with all the classics related to every course. Wi-fi facility highly needs to be improved since even the mobile data doesn't often work here. There are smart boards an ACs, but only in specific classrooms. The other ones need to be amended highly. The food in canteen is mostly hygienic and reasonable for student friendly pocket. Also, the washrooms and common areas are hygienic.
I'm currently pursuing BA(H) English since literature is a field that has always attracted me. The professors here are very helpful and understanding, I would say. For my course in particular, the teaching quality is exactly what I had expected from a DU exposure, and even more. The curriculum is all that a literature student should know about - covering vast areas from american to indian studies, and dalit studies to gender and disability studies, every aspect basically gets included here.
Not quite impressive, i would say. The Placement Cell is not really communicative with students of background other than commerce. Placements basically seem like a fairytale dream now; everybody wants it knowing that there really exists no such thing. Especially compared to the other north campus colleges, the quality of placement in drc is actually statistically low.
My course currently is around Rs.35,000 a year, which is very decent for higher studies. However, when compared to the fees of other DU colleges for the same degree, the cost is quite high for DRC students. In academic and educational terms, yes I think it's all worth it. But an exposure and infrastructural development always seems to be missing.
I dreaded ever getting into a girls college. But now that I'm here, I believe there's no other place I would rather be at, since the comfort and belongingness this college has showered me with for the last 2 years is unexpected. Also, I love my teachers. And that's all it takes to rate your college positively when summed up.
There is a lot of greenery with a very big hostel. The canteen area is good and there are facilities for gym and the sports complex. There are 12 departments. It is very clean and maintained regularly.
The professors are really knowledgeable about their areas of expertise. They are friendly whenever needed and always look forward to clear up doubts. They put an extra effort to make sure everyone is doing well not only academically but also mentally.
There is an active placement cell and various groups keeping students aware of the several opportunities for their respective careers. However there could be more companies coming to the college and it should be done for every department.
It is a decent college in north campus and very worth the money. It has people from every socio economic status and several regions making it diverse. There are scholarships and concessions and ample of opportunities to explore.
It is in north campus. The crowd is diverse and there are various markets, cafes, libraries nearby making the place feel active and vibrant. You can always find something to do. The crowd is decent amd friendly.
It has been 3 years and i am overall satisfied with everything. The infrastructure could be bigger.
The classes are well built and the chairs and tables are also decent. The classes are neat and tidy but there is no air conditioning so it is really humid in hot weather and it becomes hard to focus on studying.
Im studying Hindi hons from daulat ram because it is an acknowledged college in India and Du’s degree holds respect. The faculty is also really nice and understanding towards the students and is always open to clear our doubts.
The placement society is active and always pushes us to apply for internships and provides us with a lot of opportunities. They also teach us about how to make a good resume and so on. The placement of daulat ram college on an average are decent.
College has good classrooms equipped with smart boards, good library, canteen facility and a very large sports ground. The sports complex is also well equipped with gymming equipment. Overall the infrastructure is decent.
Most of the professors are doctorate holders and really good at teaching their subject. The coursework is also great and designed to up-skill the students by writing research papers and interactive assignments.
The college offers decent placements for students, especially for those pursuing commerce and economics courses. However students from other courses can also sit for the various opportunities offered.
Daulat Ram college has a well maintained campus with modern classrooms, a well stocked library, labs, an auditorium, and sports facilities. However, sone infrastructure needs upgrades and better maintenance.
Daulat Ram college offers strong academics with experienced faculty, well structured courses, and a good learning environment. The library and labs support studies, though some departments need better resources
Daulat Ram college provides decent placement opportunities, mainly in finance, marketing, and education. The placement cell is active, but top tier companies are limited, and most students pursue higher studies
Yes it is value for money
The campus life is decent
It has a well maintained campus with modern classrooms, a well-stocked library, and advanced labs. Hostel and cafeteria facilities are good, but Wi-Fi connectivity and seating areas could improve. Overall, the infrastructure supports learning and student comfort effectively.
It offers a well-structured curriculum with knowledgeable faculty who make learning engaging. The library and online resources are helpful, but more hands-on learning and industry exposure would be beneficial. Overall, the academics foster growth and career readiness.
It provides good placement opportunities with reputed companies, and the placement cell supports students with training and interviews. Many secure jobs with decent packages, but more core job opportunities and industry tie-ups could enhance placements further. Overall, it's effective.
The college Infrastructure is decent but not exceptional. Basic facilities like classroom, libraries and WiFi are available, but some area need improvement, such as seating arrangements and maintenance.
The academics at my college are excellent with a well structured curriculum that blends theoretical knowledge with practical applications. The faculty is highly experienced, supportive and encourages interactive learning.
The college offers decent placements, with average package of Rs3 LPA. The placement cell provides good support through training and mock interviews. Many reputed companies visit, but success depends on student skills.
Yes, very much! A college is worth for money if it offers quality education, string placements and industry exposure. The mix of academics, skills and career growth justifies the investment. My college fee is Rs 16000/ year.
Ok ok, because there are no hostels which affects the overall campus experience. While Academics and activities might be good, the lack of on- campus accommodation limits student bonding and late-night discussions.
College infrastructure is good in some areas like the main building, grounds, & sports complex. Otherwise canteen is not well maintained and washrooms smell and have broke doors. It's one of the smaller north campus colleges.
Academics are given the utmost importance at daulat ram college. The students do not attend classes as much but the college gives importance to educational activities. Workshops and seminars are regularly conducted and the courses are quite informative.
Placement depends on the calibre of the students studying there. Arts, business and science students all have opportunities to be approached by good companies but it depends on your performance in the three years spent here.
