Department of Law Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam admissions are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. At undergraduate level the college offers 2 programmes, which are BA LLB and LLB. Admissions to these programmes are done through consideration of valid marks in the AP LAWCET examination. At postgraduate level the college deals with LLM courses, and the Department of Law Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam admissions are offered after consideration of a valid score in AP PGLCET.
Department of Law Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam admissions are also offered in PhD courses wherein the admissions are based on a valid score in NET/UGC-CSIR-NET/GATE/CEED examinations. Admissions to the Department of Law SPMVV for the UG and PG courses are carried out by the competent authority of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

The applicant has to register on APSCHE official website to appear for AP LAWCET/AP PGLCET, for UG/PG admissions.
The candidates will be allotted through the Department of Law SPMVV, depending on the score and rank secured in these exams.
The applicant needs to check the CAP merit list, released by APSCHE.
For PhD admissions, the aspirant must appear in any one of the following exams - NET/UGC-CSIR-NET/GATE/CEED, the applicant has to register on the relevant official website.
Then, they must fill the Department of Law, SPMVV Ph.D application form.
The admission committee of the institute will decide the admission to the candidates, so the applicant must wait for the same.
The college offers admission in BA LLB and LLB courses. The duration to complete BA LLB courses is 5 years and for LLB is 3 years.

The merit list will contain the candidates who have been allotted to the Department of Law SPMVV.
If an aspirant is selected, they must report to the institute and pay the Department of Law SPMVV BA LLB/LLB fee to finalise admission.
The college offers the PG course of LLM. This course is offered in various specialisations of Law Studies. The sanctioned seat intake for each specialisation is 8.

The candidate must meet the LLM eligibility criteria, to apply for admission.

Once an applicant has been allotted the seat in the course, they must download the letter and report to the institute, along with other valid documents.
After successful completion of physical verification of documents, they must pay the Department of Law, SPMVV LLM fee, to finalise admission.
The Ph.D course is offered by the institute in the faculty of law. The duration of this research programme is 3 years. The below table mentions the eligibility criteria for admission.

Then, they must pay the registration fee to participate in the admission of the department.
An applicant is only admitted in the PhD programme, as per the decision of the Department of Law SPMVV.
So, the applicants who have registered must visit the college website for further notification regarding PhD admissions.
