BA (Bachelor of Arts): The college offers BA (Honours) in five different programs of study which are generally for three years. The process of admission into these programs is as follows:
BA Arabic (Hons): The requirement is having completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Selection will be based on the marks obtained at the qualifying exam; preference will be given to students who have studied Arabic in the 10+2 level.
BA Assamese (Hons): The student must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board. A knowledge of Assamese language is mandatory, and candidates having studied Assamese literature at the 10+2 level will have an upper hand in the selection process.
BA Economics (Hons): 10+2 from a recognized board is required for eligibility. Students should have a firm background in mathematics at the 10+2 level to encourage them to apply, as it helps in the course.
BA English (Hons): The eligibility criterion requires candidates to have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Proficiency in the English language is compulsory, and how candidates performed in English during their 10+2 examination is highly considered in the selection process.
BA Political Science (Hons): The applicant must have completed his or her 10+2 from a recognized board. A good knowledge of current affairs and social sciences would help his or her grasp of this program.
