Don Bosco College Arts and Science, Karaikal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a  Library that contains 8121 volumes and titles of books. The Library subscribes to 08 National Journals, 05 International Journals, 05 National Magazines, 06 Newspapers, and 60 CDs.   Books are classified and arranged according to the Dewey Decimal Classification scheme (DDC).  

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

For many students, the auditorium provides the stage where they overcome their stage fright and learn to give the first performances of their college life

The college has a ladies rest room in our college with a first aid kit. The main purpose of the lady's room is to maintain privacy for girl students. This room is helpful for them to refresh themselves and take rest when required. 

The College Boy’s Hostel is available for students from far. The hostel can accommodate a total number of 120 students only. The students of the college are eligible to avail themselves of the hostel facility. The students after completing admission to the College have to make a separate application to join the hostel. The College has Auxilium Girl’s Hostel is available on the next campus, which owned and maintained by the Salesian sisters. The Limited seats are offered only to girls from far. The Application is available in the Hostel Office.

The college has two buses that pick up students from Thoothukudi and another from Vilathikulam 

The college has a Canteen has a big kitchen and kitchen staff take extra care to provide the students and staff with nutritious and hygienic food in the campus canteen. Food items are prepared with RO-treated water
