Doon Paramedical College and Hospital, Saharanpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

There are more than 35 spacious computer labs equipped with about 1550 computer sets with the latest configurations and state-of-the-art software. All the computer systems are connected by LAN & 24-hour internet connectivity is provided for the benefit of students as well as faculty members. Windows, UNIX, and LINUX software packages such as the Drawing and Drafting package (AUTOCAD), Multimedia, Animation, and various editing packages are made available to create simulated environments to suit not only the curricula very well, but also to go beyond it. The College has established a State-Of-The-Art Computer Laboratory with terminals with the latest Pentium-based computers for the students and faculty members. The Laboratory has an independent high-speed Radio Link with extensive bandwidth. It also has the latest software required for teaching purposes. The students and faculty are encouraged to use the Laboratory extensively to keep in touch with the latest developments in the field of Dentistry and Medicine.

The College has well-stocked library is the backbone of any institution. The Central Library of the College comprises a spacious, well-furnished, and illuminated hall with adequate seating capacity for the students. At present, the library has an affluent collection of 25,000+ books as well as Journals, about 40 National journals and 20 international journals. Also, the library has a wealth of more than 50 Periodicals, both National and International. More than 10 newspapers are subscribed to the library, like the Times of India, Economic Times, Business Standard, The Hindu, Business Line, Employment News, Hindustan Times, etc. We also have a separate reading room for the students in postgraduate classes in order to emphasize reading and inculcate the habit of reading journals and other periodicals.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The College has day scholars who desire to avail of the transport facilities of the college are to deposit the fee for the full semester and one copy of a passport-size photograph in the Accounts Department. The above charges are not applicable to the students residing in hostels. They are to submit a printed requisition (available in hostels), duly signed by the hostel warden, along with one copy of the passport-size photograph to the Accounts Department. Availing of transport facilities is totally optional. The Transport Department of the College has the authority to decide to pick up points as on the convenience of the maximum number of users and route feasibility.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.
