Boys Hostel
Separate hostel facility is available for boys. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Every hostel has a common room provided with TV, indoor games and phone. Water purifier systems are installed and special care is being taken with respect to health and hygiene. A visit by a Physician is undertaken for medical check-up regularly.
Girls Hostel
Separate hostel facility is available for girls. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. Every hostel has a common room provided with TV, indoor games and phone. Water purifier systems are installed and special care is being taken with respect to health and hygiene. A visit by a Physician is undertaken for medical check-up regularly.
Library
Libraries are centrally situated inside the campus of all the colleges. They have more than twenty thousand individually & total one lakh books written by Indian and foreign authors on different subjects as per the syllabus issued by the University. National Newspapers in Hindi and English are subscribed in the libraries. Libraries also subscribe to important News Magazines and professional journals of repute. Documentation Unit files special features on various subjects. Keeping in view advanced pattern of learning, a collection of some important films concerning different subjects are kept in the libraries. Libraries also remain open on holidays. Open self-system is maintained and students are free to get the books issued from the library. Students are also encouraged to use library facilities during their free periods. All the libraries are fully computerized.
Sports
The college presently has it’s own lush green playground, where regular sports & games such as volleyball, football and cricket etc are conducted from time to time. We have the facility for indoor games such as chess, badminton, Table Tennis and Snooker.
I.T Infrastructure
Computer Lab with latest generation computers having high processing capability and Internet facility is available in the colleges. Students are encouraged to avail the Internet facility.
Cafeteria
The colleges separately houses canteen facilities to provide refreshment to the students. Students find it the most suitable place to relax and discuss topics of their interest during the leisure time. It has cafeteria with adequate seating capacity for students. The cafeteria provides hygienic and nutritious eatables for the Faculty and Students at reasonable price.
Transport Facility
The college has its own fleet of buses which punctually brings students from different corners of the city to the college and hostels at a nominal cost. At present, it owns 8 buses, which are likely to be increased as per requirement. Regular Educational tours and excursions are being undertaken for practical & knowledge to refresh the minds of the students.
Wifi
The College is fully equipped with the Wi-Fi facility. The connectivity with the digital world is possible with Wi-Fi network facility.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
Gym
The college has a Gym facility for the students.

I am a student of doon (pg) college of agriculture science and technology, which is affiliated under hnbgu, Garwhal, srinagar, UK. am I eligible for icar for PG programme under MSc Forestry?

Hello Student

To take admission in MSC forestry under ICAR candidate has to secure at least 50% marks in graduation of forestry or equivakent subjects. As you have reading agriculture Science and Technology then it is related to the subject of forestry so if you secure 50% marks in graduation in agriculture Science and Technology from here Nandan Bahuguna University UG Central University e at Srinagar Uttarakhand you are eligible to apply for MSc forestry under ICAR.

Hey Soumyadeep! Doon PG college of agriculture science and technology is affiliated to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University , Garhwal. The Doon Post Graduate College of Agriculture Science and Technology, Dehradun,Uttarakhand is an important part of the Doon Group of Collage. Being a part, the college is managed by the Doon public educational society. Since its inception, the college is being managed under Chaudhary Charan Singh Memorial Educational Society as well as Maharani Lakshmi Bai Memorial Educational Society, two educational societies.
