College has good infrastructure with all the facilities equipment everything . Good facility which are accessible for students such as library sports complex hostel with wifi laundry ,all of which are well maintained
Quality of teaching is updated and upto the mark , faculties are quite helpful and supportive , making us prepared for all the market scenario and collaborative work culture is promoted at college level ,curriculum is quite effective
Quality of placement is quite useful ,all my seniors batchmates and juniors are placed at good position with good roles and responsibilities and the process of placement is easy and effective and helps the student grow
college infrastructure is good with all the amenities present over there from lab to incubation rooms . and talking about library, which was big enough to accomodate more than 200+ people and have 10000 books
My experience was good during my college days and I got to learn many things as there were all experienced teachers present over there whose insights have helped me to succeed. There was various departments for all the courses
There was no such placements during my graduation because at that time most of the students were inclined to persue higher education but as soon as we passed placements were there for those who were interested in jobs
Frankly Speaking if you want a degree with good education under right guidance then it is good for you because it is one of the best private college for agriculturein northern India. there are really some teachers who are worthy
It has a preety big campus with greeneries where you can spend a lot of time gossiping with your friends . there is also a basketball court where you can play basketball and there is a hostel prensent in the campus
One of the best college of agriculture sciences in dehradun. Faculty there are very cooperative and supportive. For every department there is separate buildings. Also hostel facilities are also provided.
You study many subjects in 4 year course. Every subject has practical and theory. With theory practicals are also conducted. Teachers there are well knowledgeable and helps in every step towards your sucess.
Placement are also conducted there every year. After completion of masters of any student they also recruit their students who performs well. B.tech and M.tech. students get well placement. All over placements are good there.
How much you pay for your course you will get more knowledge than that
Infrastructure and field work practicals are very good there. They do have proper space and field for practical work.
College infrastructure is up to mark with all facilities one need. For Masters courses they have farms there to practice and to gain practical knowledge in the field. Also the washrooms are well maintained, lifts are working, whole campus wifi is good, library is quite well.
Teachers are experienced and they teach us very well in academics. There are also many farms for practical knowledge and experience. They not only teach us the syllabus of our courses but also our overall development and help us to enrol in different online quick sessions and programs for certificates.
Campus placements are quite well. Since I am a masters student, therefore there is no provision for placements in masters degree as all the students either opt for PhD programmes ahead or start preparing for government exams, but also there are 1-2 company that can hire freshers from there but the package is very low.
The course fees offered are value for money.
Campus life is good and environment is very much friendly, also you get to see Mohand range of mountains from the college.
My college was very good, and infrastructure was aslo too good the environment and the faculty members were very knowledgeable and experienced sir and ma'am. It the best college in dehradun, uttrakhand
I have studied Bsc in agriculture bcz it has many scope. And i love nature so i selected agriculture. Yes it related to my work and i am very glad for studying in this college. And the faculty members are very good
Yes good placement.. many companies had visited our campus for placement. 70% of students were placed.. highest package was 9 lakhs per annum , average salary 10- 15k and the college was very supportive.
My course which is BSC in agriculture cost Rs 28000 per semester. Which was affordable for every students who were studying with me and they are my friends too. Yes i feel that my money is worth as i have gained knowledge and experience
College campus was very beautiful and attractive..the infrastructure was too good and eye catching. The students, support staff were very friendly and good . Their behaviour toward students was very familiar. Location - selaqui, Campus road , dehradun, uttarakhand. Yes it handle emergencies
Yes. They have good infrastructure and having all the instruments regarding forestry .the department and field are well maintained and clean . They have 2 libraries , having hostels for boy and girls both but don't have wifi facilities.
They have good knowledge regarding forestry , having good faculty as well as good studying material .In each 1-2 year they develop there field for better education . Regarding job they only have govt. Job
They don't have any kind of placement , even if the company came they are not related with our courses at all .if you want enjoyment in your degree then you can go there rather then there is no placement
The infrastructure of the college is average, its not so, big and not so,small also. It is divided into two side one side is agriculture building and another side is forestry building. It also have smart classes , library and hostel facility. But sports field is very small , it doesn't have proper sports playing court. Although it has hygienic campus and clean environment.
I was pursuing B.sc agriculture from this college. The faculty members in this college was experienced and friendly with the students. They always help the students in solving there academic problems and also life career problems.
In placement point of view the placement from this college is very very bad as no company is coming in the college for the placement offer.I think this is one of the major drawback of this college. In college prospectus they given so much about placement company but all think was fake.
The infrastructure of Doon PG College of agriculture Science and Technology is good. They will provide the facilities like basic classrooms with proper seats and table and also their is proper library and laboratory as well.
I am completed my post graduation in M.Sc. with specialization in Forestry from Doon PG College of Agriculture and Science and Technology. The quality of teaching at this college is good. They are very helpful and humble in nature.
The quality of placements at this college is good. The percentage of students who were placed through college is approximately seventy two percent and the average package of the salary that offered is near about 3.5 lakhs.
The infrastructure is good. But the campus is not upto mark. It has smart class room not every class room. It Provides lab facilities but the space area is small to fit all the students of the class. It has quite well central library.
Teachers are highly experienced but they are not good in English language. They are friendly with student and student in their theory and doubts. Only theoretical classes held in college but they does not focus on practical knowledge to the student.
Regarding to this, college doesn't give placement to their fellow students. Or does not give prior knowledge about the skills which make student job ready for future. No company comes in this college for placement.
My college boasted excellent infrastructure, including smart classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, extensive libraries, and a sports center. The residential facilities were comfortable, and the food was of high quality, with a focus on cleanliness. Overall, it provided a conducive environment for both learning and living.
My college may not have a rigorous academic environment, but it excels in its own way. The presence of knowledgeable and dedicated teachers adds great value. Moreover, the academic content, especially relevant to the agricultural industry, is substantial. This tailored focus on agriculture equips students with valuable knowledge and skills for their future careers.
The placement scenario at my college left much to be desired. With a maximum package capped at 2.5 lakhs and no disclosure of placement percentages, it was a challenging environment for aspiring graduates. In my experience, only 20-30% of the batch secured placements.
The course costs 50K per year, but the lack of substantial placement opportunities makes it challenging to justify as a value-for-money investment. Without a promising return on investment in the form of good placement prospects, it's not a recommendation for those considering their education's long-term benefits and career prospects.
The college campus offers abundant opportunities for students to explore their interests, with a calendar full of diverse events throughout the year. Situated amidst the lush greenery of Dehradun, it provides an ideal environment for learning and living. The combination of educational pursuits and a serene natural setting makes it an appealing place for students seeking a well-rounded college experience.
The campus life was enjoyable, offering a positive experience for students. However, the overall value for money was lacking. Despite the positive aspects of campus life, the cost of education did not align with the perceived benefits, leaving some students feeling that their investment in education did not provide an adequate return.
