The First Aid Room at college accommodates and takes care of the patient from the college. Health checkups are done under specialized doctor’s supervision by the First Aid Room at regular intervals.

Any discipline of study requires material of study, references, and information collated in one place; library. We are moving rapidly in technology sophisticated world but hard copy is a preferred medium chosen by students from ancient eras. College library wardrobe consists of the huge quantum of books split between authors, topics, subjects, magazines, and newspapers. An entire silent zone with a mechanized search system is serviced by a librarian who is skilled enough to handle all concerns of students. Qualified Library staff as per AICTE & PCI Norms. Spacious and rich library facilities are provided to the students with access to e-journals and textbooks. The library has a rich collection of e-books, animations & presentations on numerous topics that can be accessed easily by the students. The library is kept open for the students from morning till late in the evening. The library is equipped with Library Management software (OPAC). This software helps to keep complete track of Books, Periodicals, and Journals, etc & is divided into different modules so that you can choose as per your requirement. The library is updated every year and newer journals, books, and abstracts are added to it. This helps the faculty members and students to keep themselves abreast of recent developments in the pharmaceutical sciences.

The college has a sports facility including the facilities of cricket and football ground.

The Internet is transforming society and shaping the future through chat. A modern era without computers is like a desert without sand. At Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy we have air-conditioned labs enabled with internet and licensed software applications connected in a network. Wi-Fi facility is provided as another mandatory thing so students are not restricted to labs or spend money in the cafe for projects and programming.

Not only the body but the soul should also be fulfilled by the quality of food. Every ward desire and has a right to food which is hygiene and healthy. We believe when a student’s stomach is happy; halfway is achieved in their progress.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

With Resident hostel students Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy also has non-resident Pune locals. An equally important transport facility is completely managed by our institution not involving any 3rd party or vendor at this role. Pick and drop is arranged as per the timings of the college curriculum with one security always on a bus traveling with the students. In order to cover the entire city sufficient numbers of buses are stocked on the campus.

Welcome to Alumni Association of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Akurdi, Pune. It is a great privilege to be associated with an organization that has a niche for ‘Excellence in Education’ through innovative programmes and Christian values. Alumni Association is the primary communication link between the college and our alumni. It is our goal to encourage and foster lifelong alumni involvement and commitment. Over the next several months and years it will be our aim to nurture the bond with alumni; to execute such programs that match the interests and needs of the alumni; to maintain and build upon the positive relationships we have with our more seasoned alumni; to increase the involvement and communication with our younger alumni. Achieving these goals will require a tremendous team effort, and it will be important to enlist the assistance of College, Students, and of course…Alumni! Alumni are the real asset of Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacy with approximately 660 pass outs. Our trendy of return gifts is followed during alumni meets. Alumni who are well settled give their time of interaction to juniors providing help in curriculum and mandatory guidance. The coordination of all alumni is cared for by a dedicated alumni cell. We always keep our alumni in the momentum of college activities regardless of they are not on campus but should not feel away from their learning home. They add value to college being Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Pharmacists outside reaching heights and bring glory to the institute which made them.

The hostels are also provided with the Wi-fi facility as a motivation and source to inculcate their life-long learning activity. Wi-Fi facility is provided as another mandatory thing so students are not restricted to labs or spend money in café for projects and programming.

Pharmacology Laboratory: Department of Pharmacology has three well equipped and furnished laboratories, i.e Human anatomy and physiology, Pharmacology, and advance video tracking laboratories of total area 250 sq. meters with sophisticated digital instruments worth Rs. 15 lakhs for preclinical and toxicological research. The research facilities in the department include standard laboratories with an area of 216 sq. mt. (two labs) housed with equipment worth Rs. 5, 18, 777 consisting of various sophisticated instruments like Vacuum oven, UV cabinet, BOD incubator, Electronic microscope, etc. and in addition to this equipment, there is a Herbarium housed in the Department of Pharmacognosy, for medicinal plant authentication and conservation. The Pharmacology laboratory has a facility for advanced research in the field of preclinical and Clinical Pharmacology. The major research areas include 1. Phytochemical studies 2. Neuropsychological and behavioral studies 3. Immunopharmacological studies 4. Toxicological studies.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
