Dr. Rajendra Gode Institute of Technology and Research, Amravati, was established in 2008  and accredited by NAAC with a grade ‘B’. The DRGITR is recognised by the University Grants Commission and approved by DTE and AICTE. The college was formerly known as IBSS College of Engineering, Amravati. The college is affiliated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. Dr. Rajendra Gode Institute of Technology and Research, Amravati, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral courses in the field of engineering and technology. It offers undergraduate courses in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and engineering, electronics, and telecommunication engineering. 

DRGITR also offers postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral courses in different fields. The DRGITR has a highly experienced and qualified faculty, equipped with modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art laboratories. The institute has a sprawling campus of approximately 20 acres with all the necessary facilities like a library, canteen, hostel, medical health care, sports, etc. GRITR also provides placement opportunities to its students. The institute has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell, which provides guidance and counselling to the students for their placement. GRITR has also been successful in placing its students with reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, HCL, L & T Infotech, and many more.
