    Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) in Pharmacology is a full-time two-year course degree offered by MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

    Pharmacologists have become an integral part of both preclinical and clinical research and play an essential role in molecular or in vitro pharmacology, which is considered important to aid drug discovery and development. Thus, the demand for skilled pharmacologists is continuously increasing and reflecting an expansion of pharmaceutical industry. According to a report from Precision Business Insights, the global clinical pharmacology market size was valued at $48,376.3 million in 2022. It is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.5% from 2023 to 2029.


    Eligibility Criteria

    • Graduates of B.Pharm degree from an Indian University established by law in India from an institution approved by Pharmacy Council of India and has scored not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years of B.Pharm).   
    • Admission selection for the university quota is based on RUAS AT scores and an interview process. GPAT and CUET-PG scores are also accepted. Additionally, candidates can secure admission through PGCET counselling.

    a. MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences had excellent infrastructure, providing all the necessary facilities and equipment to support pharmaceutical education and research. b. The classrooms were modern, equipped with projectors and WiFi, ensuring a tech-enabled learning experience. The laboratories were well-equipped with advanced instruments for research and practical experiments. The library had a vast collection of pharmaceutical books, journals, and access to e-resources. Recreational and cafeteria facilities were also well-maintained. c. The hostel facilities were decent, with regular cleaning ensuring hygienic living conditions. The food served in the mess was clean, though the taste and variety could have been better.
