      Academics

      a. I pursued B.Pharm because of my interest in pharmacy and healthcare. The faculty were knowledgeable and supportive, focusing on both theoretical and practical learning. b. The curriculum followed the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India and was fairly updated, covering all the necessary aspects of the field. It provided a solid foundation, though some practical applications could have been more in-depth for better job readiness.

      College Infra

      a. Karnataka College of Pharmacy had decent infrastructure with the necessary facilities and equipment to support pharmaceutical education and practical training. b. The classrooms were equipped with projectors and basic seating arrangements, ensuring a conducive learning environment. Laboratories were well-stocked with essential apparatus for experiments, and the library had a good collection of books, journals, and digital resources. WiFi was available but limited to certain areas. c. The hostel facilities were basic but clean, and the mess food was hygienic, though the variety was limited.

      Campus Life

      a. The campus was functional, with basic facilities for academics and recreation. It lacked greenery but had a dedicated area for cultural and sports events. Annual fests and competitions were engaging, though on a smaller scale. b. The students were cooperative, the faculty were approachable, and the support staff were helpful. The campus was in a relatively safe location, and basic medical facilities were available for emergencies.

A decent percentage of students were placed, though many chose to pursue higher studies or government jobs. The highest package offered was around ₹4-5 LPA. c. The average package ranged from ₹2-3 LPA. The placement cell provided support but could have been more proactive in building industry connections.

      Value For Money

      a. The course fee was approximately ₹1-1.5 Lakhs per year, which was reasonable for a pharmacy program. b. Yes, the course offered value for money considering the quality of education, though additional industry exposure and placement support would have enhanced the experience.
