Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: KCP Bangalore starts a batch of 100 students for the B.Pharma course which is a full-fledged four-year undergraduate program. The admission may go on considering 10+2 marks weightage in consideration with state-level entrance marks too. The whole curriculum of this course covers a wide range of pharmacy sciences.
M.Pharma: KCP Bangalore offers as many as four specializations for the M.Pharma program i.e. Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Industrial Pharmacy. The applicant to these two-year periods must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council at or before the time of admission into the M.Pharma Program.
Pharm.D: KCP Bangalore offers this Ph.D. course in Pharmacy program. Typically, it is a 6-year degree with the principal focus on providing exposure to clinical pharmacy. Admission details are not usually qualified but usually require 10+2 with science subjects.
Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate: This continues with B.Pharma graduates who have recently completed B.Pharma and have intentions of commencing their doctoral program in pharmacy. Acceptance requirements include possible consideration of the bachelor's performance and review for an entrance exam or interview.
D.Pharma: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) is a 2-year program with an intake of 60 students. The admission is likely to be based on the 10+2 results concentrating on the science subjects.
a. I pursued B.Pharm because of my interest in pharmacy and healthcare. The faculty were knowledgeable and supportive, focusing on both theoretical and practical learning. b. The curriculum followed the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India and was fairly updated, covering all the necessary aspects of the field. It provided a solid foundation, though some practical applications could have been more in-depth for better job readiness.
