The college was established in 1948. It is an autonomous institution, aided by the Government of Kerala and affiliated to the University of Calicut. Farook College has been re-accredited by NAAC with a Grade ‘A+’. The multidisciplinary institution provides higher education in the fields of Commerce, Management, Arts, Humanities, Languages, Vocational Studies, Library Sciences, Computer Application and Sciences. Farook College offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in various specialisations.
