Currently i am pursuing my degree at farook college in ba economics. I like economics very much.in my oru department teachers are good.yes, i think our curriculum is updated and includes the most of the development in the filed. Our department gives extra economic related courses.
Honestly i don't clearly know about placement. I am a ncc cadet. Some days before our college conducted a big job fair.me served as the volunteer. That time many of oru third year and pg second years participated in that job fair.we have a placement cell also. They work very effectively. They tech us how to make cv.
Money is very important in college. Most of the students are hostel.in my school days i don't want more money. But in college minimum i want 6 thousand in one month. Majority of the students are rich. But farook college support poor students through education support. Education support means farook college faculty and management gives some money to poor students for their education.i spent most of my money for food. Because i dont like somedays hostel food. Admission fee is 14 thousand. Sem exam fee is 1500.i think getting money worth. Because education quality is good moreover infrastructure also good.but comparatively other college fee is high.
Farook college is good for youth. Because college support their potential. Everybody engaged in their own world. We have best sports, arts, ncc and nss team. Every body trying to make their own best. Everyday oru students union trying to conducting good program. Students also engaged in making reels. Farook college at Kozhikode. One of the reason i select farook college is that located in Kozhikode. We all know Kozhikode is best for Everything. I feel sage in my college.

Very good infrastructure inside the college and i like college very much there is wifi and lab equipment for everyone there also water cooler in all the buildings inside the college and the campus is very clean
My department is very good department we have good supporting teachers and they are highly qualified the syllabus is very updated and follows Calicut University syllabus but there no practical work in the department
There are placement drives at the end of every academic year and job fairs are also conducted in every year the placement percentage is around 75 to 80 few of my friends already got a good package job
Farook College, autonomous offers a good infrastructure. It offers well maintained and spacious campus. It also ensures good classrooms, lab facilities etc. The labs are well maintained. It also provide a large library which offers books in different genres like novels, poems, essays etc. There are a number of books for academic reference also.
I am a 1st year student doing B.Com honours in Farook College. Dept of commerce is one of the best departments in Farook College. The faculties are very friendly and well-qualified. Also, farook college follows an updated curriculum. They focus on Outcome Based Learning system
College offers a high possibility of placement for their students. College itself has a Placement cell which helps students in identifying different job opportunities and also ensures placements in well reputed companies. College and management also supports it's students in starting their own businesses.
College ensures high academic quality. Rather than just academics, college also offers a number of activities for the students' personal training and development. There are multiple clubs working in campus to support the students in upbringing their inner talents and overcome their stage fear and social anxiety.
The campus of Farook College, Autonomous itself brings a positive energy into the students. There are several spots like 'Manjode', 'Naalukettu', 'Cemetery' etc. which are used by students as their evening hangout spots and leisure. Also, there are lots and lots of events that are done by college union and different departments in the college. which increases the quality of campus life. Each and every corner of the campus is beautifully maintained.
Clean, well-kept classrooms with TVs and mics make learning easy. The canteen is great, offering healthy and safe food. It is a perfect, tidy place to study with everything a student needs.
Academics are great! Teachers hold exams on time and after every module. We also do presentations, which really help students overcome stage fear and build confidence. It is a great place to learn.
As first year student i didn't know about the placements but our college conducting a mega job fair Everyone can participate in this job fair it's mostly helpful for graduated students, it's really helpful
Fees are affordable and collected per semester. The college also helps students who cannot pay, making it accessible for everyone. It is a high-value place to study and definitely worth it.
The campus is peaceful, green, and perfect for relaxing. People are friendly, and the many department fests create a great vibe. It’s a fun, stress-free place where you can truly enjoy college life.
a premier residential institution in Kerala known for its lush green campus, strong academic foundation, and excellent infrastructure. It is top-ranked by NAAC and NIRF, offering diverse UG/PG programs with active sports and cultural scenes, making it a top choice for higher studies. I was ver happy to share that the college campus is very neat and clean highlighted with better infrastructure and facilities.
The college campus is very neat and clean highlighted with better infrastructure and facilities and high technical facilities and green ecosphere and nature . The each and every departments are good .
The each and every departments are good with necessary labs and requirements , The college has an access with recommended clubs like Ncc, Nss, palliative care unit ,troops and other nin curricular activities clubs.
College infrastructure is good. There are tv in all classes. The library sure has lots of books and is a pleasing place to be yet there is a lack of contemporary novels or newer editions or copies of books.
I'm studying ba English language and literature. I'm sure that the curriculum will be different for fyugp students as compared to our curriculum. Final year project should be mandatory for fyugp also.
There was a placement cell and it had many career fairs and program they told us to attend but it mainly focused on technical jobs and only sometimes had jobs that were suitable to students of arts subjects.
My college have all the necessities like the infrastructure needed for a college education and facilities that enhances the students comfort and studies and all the important equipments are available We have high standard laboratories for science students and a library with all kind of books especially books that supports research scholars in their fields, we have very we’ll setup hostels having sufficient access to all the facilities. They all are maintained well by the staffs and management Our college is very hygienic and we have a clean environment
I studied BSc zoology which i took by my interest in learning about animals. The teachers are well trained and experienced and knowledgeable Yes i do think the curriculum is updated and many opportunities
The placement opportunities are somewhat limited for zoology unlike professional degree I have no idea about the minimum salary Most of the positions are entry level like lab assistants. My college is
Since i am studying in a aided college i have less fee, sem fee around ₹2k-4k Yes i do feel the money paid was worth it I could study in a well facilitated university and my dream college. Every amount spent was worth it
My campus life was one of the most important parts in my life. This is where my small step towards my goals began. There are alot of activities a student can engage in (NSS,NCCetc) everyone here is very supportive including the teachers, friends and staffs A very safe environment for all
College infrastructure has gotten soo much better over the past few years since i have passed out. Unlike then, its more girls in the college than boys. Also the evident change is liibrary is also seen
Farook college since being an autonomous college had the best teachers and staff for the teavhing process even though the syllabus was that of calicut university just like now. Academics have also improved soo much more
There is no placements as far as i know. There wasnt placements at all back then as that concepts didnt exists in much places back then. Placement cell has been established now with placement offiver and so
My experience at Farook College has been genuinely memorable and meaningful. The campus itself has a calm, green, and positive atmosphere that makes everyday college life feel comfortable and a little special. It’s the kind of place where you slowly grow, not just academically but also as a person. The college provides a good balance between studies and extracurricular activities. There are various events, clubs, and opportunities that help students explore their interests and talents. The environment is friendly, and it’s easy to find supportive teachers and good friends along the way. Academically, the college gives a strong foundation, though like any other place, there is always room for improvement in areas like updated curriculum and exposure to industry-level skills. Still, the guidance from teachers and the overall learning environment help you stay on track. What stands out the most for me is the experience and memories you create here—the small moments, friendships, and personal growth. It may not be perfect, but it definitely gives you a space to discover yourself.
Placements in our college are decent, but not something you can completely rely on without putting in your own effort. The college does try to bring in companies every year, and there is a placement cell that guides students through the process, including basic training sessions and interview preparation. Still, the opportunities can feel a bit limited at times. On average, around 40–60% of students get placed, depending on the department and the overall performance of the batch. Most of the companies visiting are mass recruiters, offering packages that usually range between ₹3–5 LPA. A few students do manage to get higher packages, but that often depends on individual skills and consistency. One thing I personally feel is that students need to be proactive working on skills, internships, and communication outside of what the college provides. The support is there, but it may not always be enough on its own. Overall, placements are okay and gradually improving, but your growth and final outcome depend a lot on how much effort you are willing to put in beyond the classroom.
am currently pursuing my degree in my chosen field because I have a genuine interest in it and wanted to build a strong foundation for my future career. The course offers a good balance of theory and basic practical understanding, which helps in developing overall knowledge. The quality of teaching in my college is generally good. Most of the teachers are supportive, approachable, and explain concepts clearly. They are always ready to help when we have doubts, which makes the learning environment comfortable. However, like any institution, the teaching quality can vary slightly depending on the subject and faculty. When it comes to the curriculum, it is fairly structured but feels a bit outdated in some areas. While it covers important fundamentals, it doesn’t always keep up with the latest industry trends or practical skills required in today’s world. Because of this, students often need to learn additional skills on their own, especially through online platforms or internships. Overall, the academic experience is decent and gives a strong base, but to stay competitive and industry-ready, personal effort and continuous self-learning are very important.

the overall infrastructure of the college was good.. but the self block is kind of worse than the rest of the college. it doesn't have wifi in it's self block. it has water dispenser located in different areas too.
the department in particular wasn't that great when compared to rest of the departments. The teachers were friendly but the curriculum isn't that good. the teaching quality is good as such. it will not get you job ready
the placement didn't occur back in 2023. But now things have changed i guess. So relevant information regarding placements cannot be shared on this platform by me. Things have changed and few of my juniors have got placed
