FES Girl's College, Chandrapur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has built a Girl's hostel on the college premises, from the funds made available by the University Grants Commission. It has a capacity of a hundred students. Aspiring students from rural areas from Chandrapur and Gadchiroli are given admission to the hostel. It contains all the amenities and spacious rooms. The hostel is looked after by the warden and all care is taken about the safety of inmates. Fresh drinking water and medical aid are provided to inmates. Homely breakfast, lunch, and dinner are also provided.

The college has a centralized resourceful library. It contains more than 13 thousand books in English Marathi and Hindi medium. There are ten journals subscribed to twenty magazines and 15 newspapers. There are many reference books available to students. The library is computerized and has been linked to the UGC library network Inflibnet. It has also been linked to the digitalized library network IIT Kharagpur. Under the guidance of Dr. Meenakshi Thombre, two assistants are available to provide service. Students have issued books regularly. Syllabus and old question papers are also provided to students.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
