Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for Degree and PG Courses (GVPCDPGC) has the facilities of hostel, library, sports, laboratory and transportation The details of these facilities are given below:

Hostels:
- For Girls: The on-campus GVP hostel for girls is well furnished and has the facilities of the Dining hall and TV room. All the rooms have attached bathrooms and toilets. Sports facilities are also available on campus.
- For Boys: GVP Boys Hostel is located about 2.5 km from the campus at Pedda Rushikonda. The rooms are well furnished along with a TV facility, internet and canteen.
Library: Library is well equipped with modern infrastructure with a reading capacity for 150 Users.
Sports: The college encourages and promotes sports activities in various fields, which includes; basketball, rifle shooting, bodybuilding, karate, badminton etc.
Laboratory: The laboratories are well equipped with up to date equipment.
Transportation: The institution provides safe and convenient bus transportation for the students
NCC/NSS: The college provides NCC/NSS facilities
Other Facilities: Seminar Halls, Smart Classrooms, Playground, Green campus with solar and wind turbines, Canteen, CC Surveillance, Wifi Enabled Campus.

Boys Hostel
Off-campus hostel facility is provided for the boys in the town with free transport facility.
Girls Hostel
There is an excellent campus hostel for girls which can accommodate 100 students. Wi-fi facility is available.
Medical/Hospital
The college has the medical facility for students and staff.

The College has a gym facility for physical fitness to the students.
Library
The Library is well stocked and fully computerized. It holds a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, audio-visual materials, CDs/ DVDs, e-journals, reports, case studies, conference proceedings and training manuals etc. It subscribes to the best of national and international magazines and journals, besides providing rich and varied resources in management and allied subjects. The library has robust processes, which are at par with the best of the libraries, for day to day operations and ease of access. It uses state of art IT tools like internet, mobile technology etc. for record keeping and maintaining linkages with a wide network of publishers and suppliers for procuring latest editions of books available in the market.
Sports
The college has both indoor and outdoor game facilities like chess, badminton etc.
I.T Infrastructure
There are ten computer Laboratories in the campus with 425 state-of-the-art systems, equipment, and provisions. All the systems are from branded companies with strain-free LCD or LED monitors and are supported by 60 KVA and 40KVA online Uninterrupted Power Backup. The special feature of the computer laboratories is that they are connected to 10 MBPS 24 hours optical fiber Leased Line Internet 1:1 pure.
Cafeteria
The college has a well maintained hygienic canteen which accommodates 300 students at a time. It provides Tiffins, Snacks, and Meals for the students at subsidized rates.
Auditorium
There is a well furnished Air Conditioned Auditorium with a capacity of 500 audiences, with the state of the art ambience and acoustics, projectors, public address systems to conduct national and international seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and symposia. In addition to this, there are three more auditoriums to cater to the needs of the college.
Transport Facility
The College has its own bus facility for students coming from different parts of the city and outskirts at affordable charges.

The College has an Alumni association.

Wi-fi facility is available in the campus for the students and for faculty.
Laboratories
The college has well-equipped laboratories. Here, the students receive practical and professional training in the relative fields of Engineering.

College Infrastructure

The campus has really good history and reputation in Visakhapatnam and it is the best college to study BBA in Visakhapatnam. The infrastructure is quite impressive and the facilities required for the students will be provided by the college. There is bus facility and also a good canteen. The food is good in the canteen. The libraries and laboratories are well equipped and students can practice whenever they want. The living spaces and classrooms are well maintained.

College Infrastructure

This college comprises all of the facilities necassary for students and it has good infrastructure where students can learn things efficiently. Being far away from the city this college provides bus facility and also public transport services are also available. There is a good library and laboratories are well equipped all the time. The surroundings are well maintained by regular cleaning and sanitation.

College Infrastructure

this college infrastructure is ok and the campus is well maintained but it is not soo spacious. the college consists all kinds of necessary equipment and facilities needed for students. there wont be any sports facilities and hostel either. the living spaces are well maintained.

what is the placement position in engineering stream

Hello,

I hope you are doing fine, Well, all engineering branches exist in colleges since they have scope and job opportunities. It would be really worthless to choose a specific branch if it has the best placements!

There are good placements in most of the branches of engineering. There may be a slack once in a while because of changes in market scenario.

My advice (a strong belief): Choose a branch of interest and aptitude, not what others (parents, friends, society, market scenario) drive you to.

Placement will be in your hand, if you:

Are technically qualified
Possess the required skills for the job
Are a professional
Have a strong CV with ample co curricular activities which has enabled you to put theory into practice
Positive attitude
Stand apart from the other applicants

Well now coming to the position that you will get after completing Engineering. That depends on your Branch you opted. For example if you have CS Branch then you might get a position that suits like you can be assigned as a programmer, tester, Developer, etc. So at the end whatever skill you will be having you will the position similar to that.
