Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course is the duration of 5 years, which includes 4 years of curriculum plus 1 year of rotating internship offered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, and approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI).

Eligibility Criteria
Completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the Corresponding year of the PMET entrance exam.
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English or equivalent from a recognized institution/university as per policy guidelines laid regarding equivalent examinations, compartment/re-appear/result awaited contingencies, in Para 4A(i) (a) to (f) of State Government of Punjab Notification & subsequent amendments.
Admission Details
The admission to the BDS course shall be carried out by the Notifications issued from time to time by the Director of Research and Medical Education Punjab, Government of Punjab, the Punjab Private Health Sciences Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission, Fixation of Fee and making of reservation) Act 2006 and Competitive Entrance Test for both Govt. Quota and Management Quota Seats.
Admissions to the BDS course will be done through National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
