Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Eligibility Criteria

Any Candidates who have qualified for 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply. Five percent relaxation of marks in the qualifying examination is allowed for candidates belonging and applying under the categories of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Person with Disability (PWD) only

Admission Details

The admission to the course is completely merit-based. For calculating the percentage of marks for the 10+2 examination conducted by CBSE, the best 5 subjects including at least one language will be considered. In the case of boards other than CBSE, the percentage of marks shall be calculated as per passing criteria laid down by the concerned board, keeping in view the Eligibility Conditions mentioned in the prospectus
