GM Institute of Technology Davanagere (GMIT Davanagere) was established in 2001 and is part of the GM Group of Institutions. GMIT Davanagere is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi with the Karnataka State Government approval. This university is approved by NAAC and the UG programmes are accredited by the NBA.
GM Institute of Technology offers multiple diplomas in engineering programmes, B.E programmes, an MBA and Ph.D programmes. The admission process of diploma programmes is merit-based. The infrastructure of our college is pretty good with hygienic washrooms, large classrooms with smartboards, and an auditorium for events.spacious classrooms and a well-stocked library, laboratories for different departments, a canteen, hostels, transport facilities and more. All the facilities at GM Institute of Technology, Davangere are easily accessible and affordable.

Only good thing about the college is the infrastructure. Good, palace like looking college. But Wi-Fi not accessible everywhere. Library does not have enough books for all students. Parking is below average
