The admissions at GMIT Davangere for diploma courses is done through a centralised counselling for surrendered seats and through direct admissions for non-surrendered seats. There is no entrance exam. The admissions for BE courses is done through a centralised counselling process on the basis of scores obtained in KCET and COMEDK UGET exams. The admissions into MBA courses is done on the basis of scores in the Karnataka PGCET MBA exam which is followed by a centralised counselling process.

GMIT Davangere Diploma Admission Procedure

In order to gain admission into the diploma courses at GMIT Davangere diploma courses, candidates have to take part in the centralised counselling process conducted by DTE Karnataka for the surrendered seats. There is no entrance exam. Alternatively, candidates can also directly apply to the institute.

• Visit the website - dtetech.karnataka.gov.in to download the application form.

• Take a print out and fill out the application form as per instructions.

• Candidates are required to visit the designated document verification centres with application form and required documents.

• Issue of acknowledgement number to the candidate.

• Publication of merit list.

• Counselling and seat allotment.

• Report at the institute with the documents and pay the required fees.

GMIT Davangere UG Admission Procedure

The admissions into the UG engineering programmes at GMIT Davangere are done on the basis of KCET and COMED-K UGET. Candidates have to take part in the centralised counselling process conducted by KEA after appearing for the exam to obtain seat allotment.

• 10th/12th marksheet and certificate

• Kannada medium certificate.

• Income certificate

• Rural study certificate.

• Parent’s study certificate / Hometown certificate / Domicile certificate / Employment certificate / Cumulative record / Marks card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the parent's domicile/study/employment.

GMIT Davangere PG Application Process

In order to gain admission into the MBA course, a candidate must appear for Karnataka PGCET MBA exam. Candidates then have to register for the counselling process conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority to complete the admission process.
