GMIT Davanagere: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

GM Institute of Technology, Davanagere (GMIT Davangere) was established in 2001-02 and is part of the GM Group of Institutions. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The list of GMIT courses include a mix of diploma, UG and PG programmes. The institute offers four diploma in engineering programmes, nine B.E programmes and an MBA programme. GMIT Davangere admissions for the BE programmes are done through a centralised counselling process conducted by Karnataka Examinations authority based on KCET and COMEDK UGET scores. Admissions to the MBA programme at GMIT Davangere is done on the basis of Karnataka PGCET MBA scores through a centralised counselling process. GMIT Davangere facilities include spacious classrooms, auditorium, laboratories, separate hostels for boys and girls, and sports facilities. The GMIT placements are handled by the training and placement department of the institute which provides placement assistance, conducts recruitment drives and provides training and counselling to students.
