Government Arts College for Women, Salem Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College hostel provides all kinds of facilities with an excellent infrastructure. The building was constructed at the cost of Rs.2.25 crores within the college premises and started functioning from September 2000. The students are admitted to the hostel according to the distance of their residence. Preference is always given to the students from for away. 

The college has a new digital library facility has been created and the students are encouraged to make use of this electronic space. Once some more computers are procured, the digital library will be functional within the college too. A photocopying and printing facility has also been proposed 

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
