Government College, Barsar Admission Process

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A. (Bachelor of Arts): Admission to B.A. shall be granted on the basis of 10+2 merit. The college offers 80 seats for this program. They are eligible to apply if they should have completed their higher secondary education in any stream. 

B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce): The B.Com course is offered with 80 seats. Admission is based on 10+2 merit, giving preference to higher secondary students of Commerce or related subjects.

B.Sc (Bachelor of Science): The 80-seater B.Sc. Programme is admission based upon the merit of 10+2 examination. The applicants must be those who have studied Science subject in their higher secondary.

BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): The college offers 40 BBA seats. Admission will be based on 10+2 merit. This is a professional course for students interested in management studies.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications): There are 40 BCA seats. The merit in the 10+2 examination is the criterion for admission. This is the right course for students intending to work in the IT sector.

PGDCA (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications): The admission to PGDCA is purely on merit, calculated on the basis of marks in the qualifying exam, usually a Bachelor's. This program is meant for graduates wishing to acquire further knowledge in computer applications.
