Government College, Khandar Admission Process

Government College, Khandar within Chhapar Colony at Khandar, Rajasthan, is an affiliated institution. The admission procedures for eligible students are simple, as it follows the policies of the affiliated university or state department of education. The course primarily offers higher education in the Humanities stream through Bachelor of Arts (BA) courses. As requirements, an applicant must have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination to gain entry into the BA program. In the admission process, the college considers the qualifying exam as one of the main criteria that determine the cutoff percentage-the percentage varies depending on the number of applications received against the seats available.

2. Application Form: It is obtainable either from the college office or downloadable from the official site.

3. Filling Up: The application form has to be filled out carefully providing personal and academic details.

4. Document Submission: The following list of documents has to be attached to the application:

  • 10+2 mark sheets and passing certificate
  • Transfer certificate from the previous institution
  • Character certificate
  • Recent passport-size-photos
  • Any other documents specified by the college at the time of admission

5. Application Submission: The duly filled application form together with all relevant documents need to be submitted to the college office by those who qualify.

6. Merit List Preparation: Based on the aggregate marks scored in qualifying examination and otherwise the criteria set for that academic year, merit list shall be prepared by a college.

7. Document Verification: The shortlisted candidates will be called for verification. Originals must be produced for verification.

8. Fee Payment: After verification, the candidate must pay admission fees to be allotted a seat.

9. Enrollment: Upon completion of fee payment, the student will be duly enrolled in the BA course of Government College, Khandar.

Degree wise Admission Process

BA (Bachelor of Arts): The BA program offered by Government College, Khandar is a full-time course of three years duration applied to Humanities and Social Sciences. It is presently the only undergraduate program that the college offers. The BA scheme prepares students for an in-depth education across a number of subjects under the Arts stream.

The admission criteria into the BA program are:

  1. Successful completion of the 10 + 2 or equivalent examination recognized from any board
  2. Meeting the minimum pass percentage required by the college for that academic year
  3. Submission of important documents such as mark sheets and certificates
