Library
The College has a Library Facility for the students. The library has one computer, where the computerization of the library database is in process. It has Broadband Internet connectivity. A reprographic facility is provided to the students as and when they require it. The students and staff of the college enjoy open access. The library management software LIBSYS has been installed to computerize the library collection. Computerization of newly acquired books is in progress. However, the retrospective conversion of the library collection is yet to be done.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has Games and sports facilities (both indoor and outdoor), which are provided by the institution, and an annual sports event is held towards the end of the session.

According to eligibility criteria of Government College of Education, Burdwan in order to be eligible for BEd
candidates needs to have pased Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree in Science/Social Science/Language with 50% marks,There is relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC/ST & DA/PWD (Differently Abled) categories.

This 50% or 45%
