24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Mental Health Nursing is a two-year full-time program at the postgraduate level in the nursing course offered by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council.
- The minimum educational requirement is the passing of a regular degree course in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc (Hons) Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing), with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks, from an institution that is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- Minimum one year of experience after a Basic B.Sc. Nursing. One year compulsory nursing service/internship after successful completion of fa our-year B.Sc. Nursing is considered an experience.
- Minimum one year of experience before or after regular Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
- The candidate should be medically fit.
Admission Details
Admission to M.Sc. The nursing course is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The admission is from the rank list prepared by the CEE based on the entrance examination as per the government norms
