Government Degree College, Paderu (GDC Paderu) is an admirable institution of higher learning located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The college follows a merit-based and inclusive admission process for its undergraduate programs. GDC Paderu is NAAC-accredited and offers a varied choice of courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce streams.

Application Process

Application procedures for admission to Government Degree College, Paderu, are as follows:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce program is offered by the college. For admission into B.Com, merit lists based on scores of the 10+2 or equivalent examinations in subjects related to Commerce studies would be used.

BA: GDC Paderu offers various BA programs with different specializations. The college has BA programs with combinations of History, Political Science, Special English, and Special Telugu. These programs are filled based on a merit list prepared from the 10+2 scores while taking into account the relevant subjects studied in the qualifying examination.

B.Sc: The college offers B.Sc. programs in various combinations such as Computer Science, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The entrance to these programs is based on the merit list prepared on scores in the 10+2 examination with special relevance to those subjects studied in the qualifying examination pertaining to science.

MA Telugu: The qualifying criteria are that for admission into the post-graduates of Telugu, he/she needs to have completed his/her bachelor's with Telugu being one of the subjects. The examination process is likely to be based again on the marks acquired in the relevant subjects of the bachelor's curriculum.
